Psoriatic arthritis
Does anyone know the differences of the types of psoriasis mentioned in the
rep please. How would they differ to look at?
Diffusa
Gyrata
Inveterate
Syphilitic
Thanks

Re: Psoriatic arthritis
Gyrata = corrugated
Diffusa = speaks for itself but is mainly seen as large lesions that
blend together
Inveterate = persistent but changing
Syphilitic = of syphilitic origin and this would be reasonably
presented by other sx within the case unless suppressed in some way,
although even then could be identified as such, homeopathically.
Wouldn't most cases of psoriatic arthritis be representative of
primary or inherited syphilitic miasm?
There are many other types as well. Joy

Re: Psoriatic arthritis
As in 'curved lines' - not sure how many types are represented in the
reps but many identified allopathically and so you would use all those
corresponding type descriptions with our reps such as pustular,
erythrodermic, scaly, ring like etc + acute, chronic, guttate,
flexural, plaque. Psoriasis can occur anywhere, even in the mouth and
thus the rep term 'mapped tongue' I believe refers directly to
psoriasis of the mucous membranes. Very!! deep seated and might be
worth using the internet for further explanation and knowledge or get
to know a good dermatologist

Re: Psoriatic arthritis
Her's is flaky and comes off in sheets in the bed so I suppose
"excoriation" would be the word to use.
Not sure I understand "curved lines" thinking of psoriasis either!!

Re: Psoriatic arthritis
Desquamation might be better and a 'google' image search will give you
plenty of pictures. Excoriation usually has a 'violence' attached to
it as in 'intense' so you would have to differentiate. Joy

Re: Psoriatic arthritis
Sorry - got my terms muddled - I meant desquamation!! Excoriation to me
means with burning or soreness as you would get with a discharge . Can you
explain the "curved lines " please.

Curly wurly, like 's' shapes or laterally like waves. Can't think of
any other way to describe it. Joy

Like "corrugated cardboard" or "corrugated steel" roofing, yes? Which
is "like waves", but I don't get the "curly" part?
