Yes, that is exactly the way I see it and have observed it in Germany.
Most homeopaths are very dedicated and would love to work full-time at
it, even for relatively low income. That, at least, they could gain if
they had enough patients. But many, and I think most, do not.

Those who can one way or other work at it part-time seem to be happy
to do it, even if they only make enough to meet the expenses, have
enough time from their other job to practice while they still make
enough in it to make ends meet. Some, of course, get their additional
income from having a school, teaching ina school, giving seminars -
they are the lucky ones. On the other hand, some have partners who
bring in the money to live on or are well-off otherwise.

Yes, that is a problem inherent in "classical homeopathy". In order to
work the way many homeopaths think it should be done, it has to be
expensive. One of the problems is that very few people go to
homeopaths for milder acute cases of illness that an experienced
homeopath could treat in half an hour or (sometimes much) less.

But any way - the basic problem is that there are too many homeopaths
for too few patients. Most of them can just dream of 20 people per
week:-(

May I suggest you take the constitutional in water so you can succuss a couple of times between doses? That would make a lot more sense, and probably not be as hard on you. It would not change the nature of the prescription. Rosemary

It's interesting, yet also expected, that if someone doesn't post for
a long period of time, then posts a topic that irritates some of the
groupies, they are labeled a troll.

I posted here, vs. the homeopathic mailing list, which many of you
are also on, because the posts here can not be searched by Google,
etc. on the Internet. A post on the homeopathy mailing list is
automatically placed on otherhealth.com and is immediately
searchable. I feel that Dr. Ramakrishnan is basically a good,
devoted, well meaning practicioner regardless of his personal style
and financial bent. I posted here to elicit feedback in order not to
spread misconceptions about Dr. Rama to an anti-homeopathy crowd
(real trolls) and/or those showing casual interest in homeopathy
without any formal education.

If anyone here feels I should move this discussion to the Internet,
speak up!

Luise, you had posted that you followed a fixed protocol for your
fibromyalgia. Was it Causticum 30C/Rhus Tox 30C, dry dose,
alternating each day for 30 days? You said it helped you more than
previous classical treatment. Has that "cure" held, have you had to
repeat it? Your prescriber is also India based.

Well, some people - not only on this list, not only concerning
homeopathy - consider any criticism trolling. If I were a troll, I
should work exactly the opposite way, i. e.make exaggarated positive
claims that can easily be refuted by the people fighting the cause -
whatever the cause may be;-)
No one except the list manager has any authority to tell you to get

It's nice in practice too. I never see an individual as "a diabetic"
- I see them as a whole, with a need to remove causation, to support
with nutrition and homeopathy, with a need to understand the
pathology and to address what it does or preferably to prevent the
harm. There's more to healing than homeopathy, even if homeopathy is
at the core. I just objected there to the notion that one "treats
diabetes".
Not true if you follow a sensible approach, including managing the
glucose to always be under 110 (the level at which damage occurs -
and thus healing can NOT be expected to occur).
In fact once I knew I had diabetes (7 yrs after blood tests made it
clear but I was not tolod) I had a great deal of damage to UN-do,
such as glaucoma, kidney damage and peripheral neuropathy, for
starters. They have been reversed, so I know what i am saying. In
fact my endocrinologist kicked me out for presenting kidney lab tests
that no longer showed loss of protein in the urine, only 6 months
after the diabetes diagnosis....and that was without homeopathy added
in yet.
It depends on the definition of normal to some extent.
For example I've so far had three cat cases of diabetes. hey have a
form of diabetes that is similar to type 2 in people except for a
nasty difference - they tend to deposit amyloid in the pancreas
destroying pancreas tissue so that the cat needs insulin. All three
cases were helped using a combination of homeopathy and diet, and all
three no longer need insulin several years later (one cat is 16 yrs
old now). They can eat a "normal" cat food provided the protein level
is at least as high as the carbohydrate as a percentage, and the fat
is reasonably high. So they are not on "veterinary diabetic food".
In my own case, I can not eat as crazily as many people do, but I
can eat a meal with carbohydrates etc and not spike over 110 at ANY
time after eating. (None of this nonsense one is advised to do about
waiting for the glucose spike to drop before measuring it - what a
crock - by then the damage is done!)
I could hot do so at the start of my approach, in Nov 2004 but I
could eat this close to normal way after a couple of years.
The lunch I just ate was lots of meat balls, some mashed potato,
lots of green beans and a skim milk latte (no flavour added). When I
first started after diagnosis, that meal would have been meatballs,
green beans and zucchini or asparagus, with green tea - a very
different carb picture to the one I now need to stay under 110.
Only when I am ill, do I need to revert to a stricter low carb meal.

So I am not back to normal in my glucose responses - I agree with you
there - but I have reversed the damage, stopped additional damage,
and I can eat a pretty normal meal on most occasions. Unlike the cats
I had as clients, I still have the maintaining cause of my diabetes
(cortisol-producing tumors) so I feel I have achieved the best I can
with that fact to deal with. Without the cortisol factor I am pretty
sure I could heal completely - or near enough as makes no difference.

The difference in approach between what I do and what most people do,
is in the understanding of the pathology. This is where homeopaths
often lose out as they may not understand what is going on at the
cellular level and thus would be unable to advise a sensible glucose
cut-off number at which damage will not occur and healing will occur.
The 110 level is the ghighest level - not the average level to be
aschieved. Fasting glucose should be 80 to 90. Mine's 92. When I
first started out it was 190.

Any diabetic following such crazy regimes for example as those of the
American Diabetes Association is guaranteed to get worse steadily.
All you need to do is to look at the statistics for diabetics under
that system to see that whatever they are suggesting is doing the
opposite of working - it's increasing the diabetes deaths annually,
and feeding the grain industry (obvious benefactors of the so-called
food triangle) and feeding the diabetic drug industry - THEIR glucose
level is very financially healthy!
Agreed. In my case fore example, I still needed to find my
constitutional remedy at the time when I had achieved a more or less
normal life glucose-wise.
So I know homeopathy is not the only factor:-)
In my case diabetes was one of many side effects of a deeper disease
which I am still working to overcome.
I m not familiar with Dr Ram's approach - but I am not averse to
different approaches being used i different situations; there are
many roads that lead to Rome and my only criterion is that we reach
Rome - and that remedies are chosen via the Law of Similars (as
opposed to being suppressive).

If more than one is used for different purposes, there still needs to
be homeopathicity - by which I mean the Law of Similars applies
during selection within the realm of expected activity (be that
activity at organ level, system level, or for an entire individual).

I'm glad to hear that protocol is still working for fibromyalgia
after one time. Hopefully, you won't need to repeat it, but it would
be interesting to hear if upon repetition it works as well.
Possibly, you may need to do water doses and 5th ed techniques.

I still haven't given the instructions you provided to an
acquaintance with fibro but will.

I already did that, so did feel better. Thank you for the
suggestion. Does your tape include Dr. Ramakrishnan's method of
stopping a constitutional and taking a cell salt? He mentioned to me
going from dynamic to physical plane treating, sounds like a
Vithoulkas concept. Just wondering if that's a method he teaches,
does in clinical practice, etc.
