Re: injury
also when I said shes angry about it--------its not a constant dwelling on the situation, it was just whenever it came up in conversation
also I understand what maria is saying when the whole case needs to be taken or it can get all muddled.
the only reason I had asked about this injury again was because it just happened and I thought taking an acute is different and if done soon can prevent a chronic situation.
I was thinking its just a layer which would be separated because this is a totally different incident
But if it has to be added to the bigger case then I guess I better leave it alone

Re: injury
I may be missing parts of this conversation, but -- I don't think you can really go amiss by treating it as an acute. What potency of Arnica did you already try?
I'd have to defer to others for suggestions about how to use a lower potency repeated in water, but in my experience for a severe injury, the potencies that are easily available in health food stores (usually 6 or 12 or 30) are not sufficient. An even moderately severe injury may need 200c or 1M, which can be gotten easily through the mail (or if you live by a homeopathic pharmacy). I can see no downside to trying her with a single dose (either dry or in water) of one of those. It's likely to be *some* help, even if not solving the whole problem.
If it eases her discomfort, it can be repeated when the discomfort begins to return (in water is fine, but IMO repeating dry is fine too). Watching the response to that dose would give clues about what else might be needed. (E.g. is part of the discomfort resolved, but another part is not, that sort of thing.)
There are certainly possible acute remedies other than arnica, e.g. calendula, ruta, rhus-tox, and others, but Arnica is such a usually-useful starting point in injuries.
The risk of confusing things only comes in when someone is taking *repeated* doses -- and that means a LOT of repetition, not just 2 or 3 in an acute situation; and not just "as needed" repeats of a remedy that's actually doing its job. Treating injuries *is* straightforward -- but one needs to have enough information in order to know what remedies we're trying to choose among.
We still don't know what *tissues* were impacted: Sounds like it was not the bone of the spine, but certainly the torn skin, and maybe also ligaments, probably muscle?

Re: injury
just a side note--- her gums didn't bleed today when she flossed, her tongue which always had a white coating is clear
her eyes underneath tho are really swollen
her doctor said she has to wait a few more days for the bruising to go down and take another x-ray, at that time the xray may show a broken bone. Sometimes the swelling may have hidden that, so at this point im not sure if anything is broken or not.

Make no mistake, I am certainly in favor of Acute Treatment, is is wrong to just let someone suffer. Your thoughts are in the right place, but you do want a totality to be taken as soon as possible.
