I have not asked the patient for permission to post her case on a general board like this. The case is on the Homeopaths site if you are a member of that closed list.
#Basically she is chilly since the thyroid problem before that she was warm blooded but sweated a lot on exercising.. Sleep is fine. Appetite good until recently but is returning a it now. Bowels fine. Chronic lower back problem cured by cranial osteopathy . Gets a stiff back and shoulder when stressed. Memory poor. Menses beginning to go haywire - she is 53. She is overweight and at the moment stressed with this problem.

There are 2 versions it would seem, depending on which formulary you use -
whether it be quaque die = every, or quater die = 4. Either way it is QD or
qd. But as long as the practitioner knows what they mean and more
importantly the client understands - no problem. What homeopath would still
bother to use these.

Anyway, q.s. :-)

The q or Q in QD is there for the latin word, which I forgot, saying
"every", hence "every day" meaning once a day.
That is what I was taught and what is used in English speaking practices and
hospitals.
Maybe the latin is wrong, but the convention is there............
