Yes, even in one breed, like humans, animals vary. One of my cats will not eat new food varieties without coaxing. Another is not sensitive, aggressive and does not seem to realize that the water contains a remedy.

I hear a doctor say, have a spray bottle of Chamomile ready in the waiting room for fussy babies. I think it was Murphy. I don't think I would do that.

What I am trying to say is the sensitive animals can decide when they need their remedies. Just like the sensitive people. The insensitive ones need you to decide.

I can't tell whether mine is insensitive or trying to please me or simply greedy!

Peace,

Hi Dale

just a thought - have you tried to present 3 or 4 different remedies at the same time. I did this with one of our cats a while back and they choose the one I most suspected to fit.
If they take all, then maybe they're being a little piggy 8>D

I'm not sure cats or animals are all that enlightened.

Thanks, Bob, but I have tried that. She wants to lick every one. My previous dog was discriminating; this girl seems never to have met a remedy she didn't want.
Peace,
Dale

Hi Sherri,

Babies and animals can be quite sensitive depending on their character. Sensitive but willing to give up their preference is not within the arena of sensitivity that we are talking about.

Hi Dale, They have to be a bit stubborn, so they won't bend just to please.

For my stubborn and sensitive cat, I put out two bowls. One with the remedy. For my pig headed, aggressive cat, I squirt it in her mouth. She is obviously not paying attention. She overeats, fights, puts herself in dangerous ...

You have to see differences in that capacity in patients too. I try to give patients training to pace their own dosage. This is really not possible for many. Not aware, not sensitive, not stubborn enough to insist that their feelings are true....
Blessings,
Ellen
