Yes Shannon - sorry, i break all the 'rules' if there any any in this approach.
I have a background with psychology involved and use some methods on rare occasions to have the patient allow their mind to bring up whatever is going on with the patient in full charge of proceedings. - It will bring it up in the order it wants to deal with things. the brain will interpret the event in a feeling, often attached to a physical sensation and perhaps a colour and a shape [sounds strange but it does] the person then as they feel that emotion may change the characters parts or speak to one of the characters or change the size of the character or delete the scene [many options] to empower themselves again. i will give a remedy during that emotional state and yes often there may be more than one remedy in a session dependig on how many different scenes/emotional comporents there are to deal with. It may be a 200c or 1m potency say of aconite and later a 30c water or dy dose of something else. keep it to the smallest amount needed but someone in the height of fear!
  needs a higher remedy.
Hoep that helps explain it a litte

Thanks Theresa, yes that makes sense.
mother does not rescue unless asked but there is probably some resentment that she needs to.
I dont' have Sankaren so will have too look up each remedy in those families and look at them

				Rosemary and Beverley,
Solanaceae have terror and fear quite marked, don't they, Rosemary? So might be good if that is the case.
As far as not having Sankaran's books or Schema, goes, Beverley, you can still look at what comes up in a straight repertorisation and have a closer look at members of these families and other remedies in the group.
Or I'll scan relevant bits of the charts and send to you direct if you like.
Sankaran cross references with miasms - it does all sound pretty syphilitic.
Theresa
Good thoughts, Theresa. I think I might be tempted to add the Solanaceae to the "abused/ abuser" list???

In complicated cases such as this, it is often helpful to get another
perspective besides that of the client. If possible, interview
spouse/significant other, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, even friends or
neighbors. Anyone who has met this mother in person could help shed light
on why he might hate her. It is important to find out if she has given him
any reason for this anger, or if it is completely delusional on his part.
If possible, interview the mother herself as well.
I have met or heard of mothers who have seemingly done everything possible
to help their sons on the surface. But in reality, they subtly sabotage and
undermine the client at every turn. He could be reacting to a similar
dysfunctional dynamic.

				thanks helen
have spoken with the few other members of the family
they all, as well as the patient, agree that the hatred is delusional
The patient continually says the last couple of days to his mother that she is almost perfect, if only she would change her voice- he is very sensitive to any tone or hurriedness sensation. Arsenivcum and stram have kept him quite good the last couple of days.
thanks for your suggestions

				Hi Dr. Tina,
This is such a very different type of prescribing than I am familiar
with, I'm hoping you can help me put it in context? What leads you to
suggest such frequent repetition of a high potency for this case?
Best wishes,
Shannon
