Hi Rochelle,

"Never well since menaupause" syndrome often calls for Lachesis.

Tried that one- in fact that was the one that got rid of my hot flushes
before I was given Carc which started the flushes up again + the sleep
problem. This started immediately menses ended. The only respite I ever had
was exactly a year later when my body produced a brownish leucorrhoea for a
week which must have been the last attempt at menses!!

Hi Rochelle,

I was just about to ask which remedy you took just before the sleep
problem started. I'm a bit unsure of what you have said - Did you
have the sleep problem before you took Carcinosinum? If not, maybe it
needs antidoting and we could consider this sleep waking pattern you
describe as a Carcinosin symptom? And on the surface the relief when
the leucorrhoea happened looks like Lachesis again... has it been
tried again - or possibly one of the other snake venoms or a zinc
remedy. I remember Vermeulen in a lecture telling us that Lachesis
and the other snake venoms contain Zinc and Zinc has relief from
eruption, and discharge.
I used to wake regularly around 2 and I didn't notice when it
stopped, but thinking about this....Carcinsosin was one of the
remedies I took around the time my sleep improved - and it gave me a
dream that I was asleep and couldn't wake up.

Gail.

Dear Rochelle,
perhaps you can find something in Bogers unspecifical temperature-times (I read that book in German and don't know the English title). I suppose that ars repeats it, if it's always 12 - 2 - 4 - 6 (winter-time). and fever = flush of menopaus. Nearly like calad, too (especially if the rhythm begins at 0.00).
By my one it stopped, when I took sepia. By the way I look for informations about squil (the whole animal) which perhaps could be better (Margery Blackie, Classical Homeopathy).
If I observe rightly, than each flush corrects something wrong with digestion. Without flushes often problems happens (pancreas, hepar, gall bladder, bowel).
Dear Luise,
I also read this sentence in the New Clarke. But I do not agree.
All my experience says: the problem doesn't became better till you find the right remedy (not only lach).
Sorry ;-)))
yours

Gabriele

Dear Gail,
No I didn't have the sleep problem before the Carc . I am sure that I have
been given Lachesis since then as I talk a lot , let alone anything else!! I
have never tried another snake remedy or a zinc remedy. I am seeing my
homeopath next week and will put all suggestions to her.
When I returned from India last week I took a Sulphur 200 to clear the scene
as it were from remedies that I took there. My homeopath doesn't know that
yet!!!

Dear Gabriele,
I do have Boger . I have noticed that I don't wake at specific time but at the specific interval of 1.5 or 2 hours. I just feel lucky that I go straight back to sleep after waling. When I wake I am wide awake and don't feel tired. It's weird!!

Ok, Rochelle,
I understand you. When I woke up, I didn't feel tired too - till 4 hours were gone.
Sepia helped, but it is not exactly my remedy.
It helped to sleep the whole night (so that I could think and work the whole day).
That's the reason why I look for informations about the whole fish ;-) not only for its color.
By the way - RADAR says that nat-m and bamb-a would awake all two hours. But I think you know that.

Dear Gabriele,
I didn't know about Bamba a. Do you mean awake every 2 hours or awake for 2 hours. Maybe you could give me the rubric.
I've tried Sepia which seems an obvious one for me as I am > exercise as I go to the gym every evening and do aerobics.

If you want, I send you the AM directly. Otherwise it would be to much for this list.
Tell me, if...
Bambusa is very simliar to silicea - for my opinion.
