Hm, "cell salts as a supplement as per Schuessler"…
As a supplement, the amounts are so tiny it's hard to imagine them having any effect. One thing it does share with regular homeopathy, is that they are effective not because of the quantity of "stuff" in them (the 6x diluted substance), but because of their "like-cures-like" effects, in a similar way that e.g. Calcarea, when indicated, can correct disordered calcium metabolism.
I think you are stuck on some of the terminology that's been used, perhaps without an understanding of either the way they are used, or the reasons why they are effective.

Yes, I have a number of those in my life also; I just let them be…

What I have found in discussions in the past, is that if I am at all defensive, then it becomes an argument (some were eager to argue the superiority of their viewpoint). But if I stay non-defensive, and be willing to offer what I know, or think, or have seen, then *sometimes* they will begin to have interest, and it can become a discussion.

Other times it becomes apparent that they really aren't interested in exploring, they are happy to just believe that they believe -- and in that case, I am happy enough to just let them be, hopefully with no loss of respect on either side.

In my own small circle of family and friends I have gained a cadre of "true believers" based on my successes, and on that basis I recommend you get yourself some acute prescribing manuals (which cover injuries as well as acute illnesses), and look for chances to use them! But be warned -- some people will steadfastly assure you *every* time, that they "just got well on my own", and that the timing (even when it happens over and over) is pure coincidence. :-)

Oh, and cell salts have been a very good starting point for a number of people!
Despite their use being decidedly not Hahnemannian homeopathy.

Homeopathy works JUST as well for materialistic people!
The trick might be getting them to *try* it… Sometimes curiosity helps, or an appeal to the "scientific spirit."

Roger, that's not what I find!

30 years ago, when i was first getting into homeopathy, the common response to the word was "what's that?"
But in recent years, people are *usually* familiar with the term -- which has a down-side, since many have already also "learned" that it's bunk. Oh well… So I tell my stories, and believe me, we *do* still have a very alive community of users. Your pessimism may apply in some parts of the country, but not in all parts.

I had not used those words, as they did not apply - but Okay I shall not tell you:-)
You can continue to use incorrect methods and useless remedy selection inventions.
But I do NOT see that as inexpensive as you do.
I see your lousy results as being VERY costly.
And I see your learning how to do it better, and spending money to do so - as LESS expensive than your cheap junk method for lousy results.

You are all about cheap - but there is a different cost to that approach.
The good methods took time to develop and take time to learn, and are sold to defray that cost.
That's the real world.
Most homeopaths are extremely generous with information - I am no exception - but having it all fall on deaf ears who want a freebie, is rather an insult.

Namaste,
Irene

Hi Irene,

If I remember correctly, he did get a "freebie" from a homeopath on this list and reported back that the remedy suggested was Chocolate.

It is clear as a bell that cell salts are not supplements. 6X means one part per million, not very much. How they do work is a big question, and a very interesting question.

I have experienced that they give me so much energy that I sometimes have to lay off of them. I can also use the technique of putting 4 pellets into a cup of clear, pure water and put a small plate over the cup, and this cup is good for an entire day and even more, saving me money and hassle.

I am happy to take an average. Whatever percentage you get, simply divide it by 2 and that would be the average between your observations and mine. In my conservative side of town, it is non-existent. The funny thing is that a conservative Republican lady turned me on to homeopathy in 1970.
