Oh right, I remember noticing that. But yes, Hylands is one of the old cell salt brands, and they're good. You got just what you meant to.
Have you found book(s) or website(s) to help guide you in using them, or are you still looking for that?

Hylands has them numbered in alphabetical order just for convenience. So e.g. Calc-fl is #1, etc.

Yes, you did!
It is funny that it doesn't say either "cell salt" or "tissue remedy" anywhere on it, but it does say, on right side of the bottle, "Compounded according to the biochemical theory of Dr. W. H. Schuessler" -- and that is precisely cell salts / tissue remedies (two names, same thing).

Those numbers are the numbers of the cell salt. Each cell salt was originally numbered by Dr. Schussler (spelling?).
If someone knows that the numbers go from 1 to 12, then there is a good chance that they may be missing out on knowing about Hyland's Bioplasma, which is all 12 cell salts combined. Bioplasma rocks. One might benefit from the testimonials to be found on Amazon about Bioplasma. Everything took a noticeable up-tick for me thanks to Bioplasma. And it is a heck of a lot less expensive than taking all 12 cell salts separately.
My BMs improved. Sleep improved. Irritability improved. Best of all was my tendency to get short of breath when bouncing up the stairs say quickly if I did not get enough sleep. On my second day of taking Bioplasma, I was very low on sleep (for reasons unrelated to insomnia), but the shortness of breath thingie was just not there. It was amazing.
Another interesting related item is that the website 1-800-homeopathy has a product but each cell salt is in potencies of 6X, 12X, and 30X in the same bottle. I didn't know that that was possible and I don't know if it is wise (since I don't know enough about homeopathy). It is only 37% more expensive than Amazon's single potency version, and Amazon has the best price for Bioplasma (including shipping) that I could find.

cell salts are homeopathic remedies and Hylands, in my experience, are soft tablets.
I don't know what you mean by 1 2 3 up to 12

Trust me. It is a cell salt. I never even noticed the absence of the words "cell salts" on the bottle. It was being sold in the section for cell salts.
Dr. Schussler (sp?) made homeopathic remedies out of 12 cell salts that he discovered from analysing the ash from cremated corpses. He numbered then #1 through #12. At the time that he made his discovery of the 12 cell salts, homeopathy was widely accepted, so it was no big intellectual jump for him to do it homeopathically, thank God.

A little history: “Schuessler did not base his symptoms on provings. He was looking only at cellular pathology and saw his 6X salts as “mineral suppliments”.
It was Hering who looked at the cell salts, saw some connections and under took to prove those cell salts that were not proven at the time.
Read Boericke and Dewey’s “The 12 Cell Salts” - it gives a good historical background.” JW
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Both (cell salt and remedy) contain the same salt and the same amount/potency. Both are HPUS.
Name would be based on”the why of the what”.
Used as aa Cell salt - based on cellular pathology - not homeopathy.
Used as a remedy - based on provings - homeopathy.
