Don't you think it is easier for a drug company (who has no liability in the US for any injury) ---- don't you think it is easier and more beneficial for a drug company to 'agree' that their vaccine caused a bit of harm FROM THE "VIRUS" in it , just reinforcing the whole idea of vaccines prevent illness in most cases and polio is caused by a virus.

They stand to gain millions and lose a little bit of 'face' and really no consequences.

Admit something that isn't even true and have no consequences or little consequence and come out making millions.

By allowing others to believe that the vaccine made others ill, it just reinforces their lie that viruses cause illness and vaccines prevent it.

Great deal for them - allow you to believe that the vaccine caused the polio and you will never doubt that the vaccine has virus in it

I don't know if this is at all relevant to the discussion but my polio was diagnosed after a painful lumbar puncture!!! I remember it well!!!

Do you mean you did not hear the reports that I heard, or do you mean that you heard the reports and were able to determine that they were untrue? Because I have certainly (tho infrequently) heard the reports.
With the idea of infection overall, you mean--not just polio.
I still don't know what to make of that...

I cannot show you the reports. As I said, I've just heard the incidents reported, no more than maybe one or two every few years, again as I said, none involved your suggestions below--doctor or nurse getting it from patient--the only ones I recall were the swimming pool clusters (in some cases several cases developed whose only common thread was having been in the pool at same time as etc.) and the one about grandpa and diapers of grandchild.

So it seems we have a stalemate; I can't prove it happened (maybe the newscasters were lying for some reason) and you can't prove it didn't (you have no particular information about the reports I had heard).

So it goes back to the broader picture...

And I would like to ask you again: These people--and let's say particularly the latest one you've been mentioning--who are contending that (a) no one has ever isolated a polio virus (despite numerous published assertions to the contrary) and (b) there is no infections disease called polio, are they saying this only about *polio*, or are these part of the group who insist that *no* disease is contagious, that all of it comes from toxins not from microbes, and that microbes never cause disease? I do think it's important to have an understanding of the broader context of one's informants, don't you?
