It's thought low Vit D causes many illnesses, can it be diabetes causes low Vit D?
I'm not sure what to do next, I've increased to 2000 IU D3/day. What's the benefits of taking 50,000 IU at once every week vs. lower amounts daily? While it's fat soluble, it shouldn't be eliminated too quickly but doesn't that cause spikes in your D levels? How long does it take for Vitamin D levels to increase and cause an effect?
Mercola

There is quite a different feeling, not sunburn, from getting lots of sunlight vs. taking Vit D supps. I just didn't realize I need to it daily and longer to maybe make a difference, unless one can become Vit D resistant.
