As much as I would love to be able to understand this article, it really is for those with a scientific/biological mind.
Hope you find it useful.

Re: Arsenicum Album
If i may attempt a precis:
It is claimed to be the first research of homeopathic dilutions using plants.
They point out plants are a good idea for research as there are no placebo effects, ethical issues, duration issues or high cost issues to consider, as with animal/human research.
So they set up three lots of wheat shoots.
Normal; poisoned with arsenic just enough so the shoots did not die; and poisoed but then treated with Ars 45X.
The homepathically treated shoots became almost as healthy as untreated controls (that had not had any poisoning or remedy).
Also, the shoots treated by homeopathy were shown to have had their GENES altered back to healthy compared to the poisoned ones.
The technology they used for the gene testing (microarray) is very well accepted for lots of other conventional research.
They point out the results are very reliably valid therefore, but the homeopathy's action to achieve them is hard to explain. They wonder about some kind or realignment or resetting of genes after application of remedy.
Namaste,
Irene

Re: Arsenicum Album
A very small point, but -- do you have any idea why the potency 45x would have been chosen?
I wouldn't even know where to *get* 45x; would love if they had repeated it with a number of different potencies.

Re: Arsenicum Album
don’t know why they chose a 45x for the plants but I found it interesting that they talk about biological action and
not energy transmission or movement or impact
