This homeoprophyaxis being promoted and practiced by NON homeopaths and homeopathy is not that.
It is a 125 hour program to do the below and you don't have to be a homeopath

You do NOT have to be a homeopath to give these remedies - that's OK with you?
People with only 125 hours of training (NON-homeopaths) are doing this with patients.

Large numbers of remedies in many different potencies given over time is not this - anyone OK with the below, scares me greatly
THIS IS WHAT is used in so-caled homeoprophylaxis - something very different than what Hahnemann did

The list and schedule referred to in this post has been created and used by Isaac in order to mimic as closely as possible the schedule of official vaccinations recommended in Australia, so that a valid comparative study could be made between 2 cohorts over a long period of time.

He has always said and written that each practitioner should adapt and change it so that an individualised schedule, if need be, could be created for each patient.

Those who claim this is a sacrosanct protocol that has to be followed in each case have either not understood a single word that Isaac has been teaching or are trying to slander and misrepresent him.

In my own practice, the only prophylaxis I really insist on is whooping cough. Not that I think it is more dangerous than anything else but because I do not want to see children and their families suffering night and day for 3 months when I have a simple and cheap method to prevent and/or mitigate the occurrence of that disease. Not to do so is for me not only unethical but borderline criminal.

Talking about definitions and denominations:
Homeopathy = same suffering
Homeoprophylaxis = prevention through the same

Quite different concepts!

MDs and nurses who vaccinate claim to work on the immune system; do they call themselves immunologists? certainly not!
Although I would prefer to see HP practised by homeopaths, I would have no hesitation to teach the (simplified) system and technique to naturopaths, if only in the interest of public health.

I do not agree with the high potencies being advocated.
Asa with provings, the potency of 30C is usually sufficient for homeoprophylaxis and has been found so for more than 200 years in practice.
However in the 1980s I found that the organisms that you do not eline in and which trigger disease - such as panleucopenia and parvo - need a higher potencyt than 30C for prevention, especially in already compromised individuals having forebears who were vaccinated withon three generations or who were exposed to drugs such as steroids, meloxicam, convenia, and chemotherapy drugs (to name the most common ones currently).
That does not change the benefits of homeoprophylaxis - just the appropriate way to use it.
I have had a long history of good experience to follow when I started using homeoprophylaxis in 1984, at the 30C level only, and then adding 200C in specific situations from the turn of the century when a few individuals did not resist an outbreak. I still use these two potencies that have proved themsleves in tens of thousands of cases, for illnesses that normally affect 10 percent or more of the population per year.
Since 2009, I have used te Fibonacci series in cases of illness, but not yet for homeoprophylaxis. It is very hard to give up on such a well proven system as I have used to date, and which is still working with 100% efficacy this century so far.
I think it is important to realize that the kind of homeoprophylaxis that is being discussed - against acute illnesses that are ongoing common risks in specific society - is based on the findings of Hahnemann from provings, and not on the findings of epidemics.
That to me means the choice of potency should also be carefully chosen with proviongs experience as the basis.
We can then grow our knowledge with actual experience

Hahnemann uses the phrase - "as all experience shows" - when explaining the robustness of health to be gotten by using remedies that are not needed at the time for any illness.
We too can observe and use experience to show us improved methods. Isaac Golden took that and ran with it.
HE has done what Hahnemann implies "as all experience shows".
He documented that experience and what it shows, extremely well.
That can be ADDED to the experience of provings, and the experience in animal prophylaxis which has 200 years of experience, to make sensible decisions on how to use what potency in homeoprophylaxis of diseases that are NOT present at the time.

It is a growing science - but needs the "as all experiecne shows" aspect, to be taken as seriously as the part about building robistness and disease resistance being the natural result of taking unnecessary remedies (when one is NOT ill at the time - as in proving or homeoprophylaxis for illnesses not currently present - a form of proving activity greatly encouraged by Hahnemann).

It actually doesn't matter, practically speaking, how Hahnemann used the term -- it is *in* the language with various meanings in addition.

When Hahnemann used the word "car" he didn't mean what we use it to mean today, but let's not stop driving...
