AFter Irene's experience with the Austrian homeopathic company I was going to
call my state senator and ask what he or his office could find out
restrictions on selling homeopathics to the USA. Maybe everyone should do the
same in their state. How can their be restrictions when there hasn't even been
a bill as of yet? Congressman or senator... I'm calling my senator in mn cause
I've talked to them before and they are really helpful.

If there are restrictions on importing from Austria, ask them if it applies to all of the EU. Europeans, particularly German and French are big users of homeopathy. (Germany had a turnover of half a billion EUROS around 7 years ago.) They will not be happy if they have to part with their remedies when entering the States.

This reminds me of the time when I was entering Germany at the time one could only take Vitamin C in if the tablets were less than 1,000 mg. So I took a bunch of apples through customs and asked them to check to make sure I wasn't bring in Vitamin C over the requirement. The customs people, all apologized about the restriction, said it was ridiculous and waved me through without further bureaucracy. The Germans are ardent natural health aficionados:-))

Carol, there you go again thinking that the FDA has to follow the Constitution just like everyone else. They are above the law because they are looking out for your welfare, and they know better than you do.
