Rosemary Hyde's email is hacked HELP!!!

I'm sure others on the list will have gotten this also, and in case it's not already obvious, this was NOT from Rosemary, not her voice, it's an attempted scam.

Indeed sounded so unlike Rosemary. I e-mailed her most recent address that I had fearing that it was a scam and had the answer it was genuine but format did not ring true. Interesting that has been confirmed.

This is a dead give-away for con-artists: "How are you doing today? I do hope that you receive this email in good health."

I didn't know that they had escalated to hacking.

It means someone has her email account password at bigpond, and is using her email as theirs.

If anyone knows how to contact her other than by email to tell her to change her email account password, (or if she reads this here) that may fix it - if the thief has not already locked her out by changing the password, she may be able to fix it simply that way.
Otherwise she will need to tell whoever gave her the email account (bigpond) that it has been stolen, prove who she is, that should be closed down and a new one set up.
(Meantime the minutus list manager can set her to nomail after this email, till it is fixed.)
