Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome

Post by Tessa Mackenzie »

Thanks Russell and Dave for your comments and web references,
the correct spelling helps....

Mosby's Medical, Nursing, & Allied Health Dictionary states..
"a hereditary disorder of connective tissue, marked by hyperplasticity of
skin, tissue fragility, and hypermotility of joints. Minor trauma may cause
a gaping wound with little bleeding. Sprains, joint dislocations, and
synovial effusions are common; life expectancy is usually normal. Nursing
managment includes emotional support of the patient and the family, with
emphasis on avoiding trauma in childhood."
so adding those "hypers" to your multi-miasmatic mix it is interesting that
Carc is strongly indicated for my client - who is the (so far) asymptomatic
(apart from easy bruising) daughter.
