similar versus identical
similar versus identical
If a remedy is more identical, the same, than similar...how would identical
manifest itself to the immune system? Lets say someone made a mistake and gave
something just the same as the person's symptoms...what would likely happen?
And what does that even mean for a remedy to be identical as opposed to
similar? Anyone have any examples?

See those in the Organon;
eg
If you give smallpox material to someone with smallpox it does not help.
If you give cowpox material to someone with smallpox it does help.
eg
If you vaccinate for TB it does not prevent TB but it prevents leprosy, a similar disease.
TB=Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
Leprosy= Mycobacterium leprae.

Re: similar versus identical
Someone said the reiteration or tincture when diluted and successed does make it similar but no longer the same.
However we get a lot of admonitions to use disease nosodes in high potencies.
That is the theory.
Now for experience. - I made up a nosode from the North American Chestnut tree blight. Used it at the 6c potency on some chestnut seedlings with disastrous results. Quite a few of the trees got the blight badly almost overnight.
Had some poultry (I bought them) that had some primitive upper respiratory infection. Thought I would try the disease nosode on them. Made up the remedy from the discharge - went up to a 30 C - got a small positive reaction but then relapse and eventual death.
Would have wanted to keep on trying but remedies were not working and didn't want to take any more chances of spreading it.
Yet I have seen nosodes work well in 200c for the regular childhood diseases.

Hi, Maria --
A bit of bad luck there! But the nosode organisms are generally killed (with heat etc.) before potentisation. A possibility that may be worth considering is that these organisms survived the potentisation process.

Yes you are correct.
I will be sure they are dead on my next attempt. Thank you.

Maria,
What about the miasmatic nosode diseases?
Just saw on news there's a TB outbreak in Kansas HS.

Since I'm taking TubK daily, is that a preventative for Tuberculosis?
Tub Koch may not be totally identical to human TB (?)

Re: similar versus identical
I hope you are taking the TB nosode on the advice of a professional homeopath.
It is my understanding that TB does not react well to vaccinations. (That is what I have heard, however seems like the other childhood diseases they are trying to inject everyone with do not work well either.
We all have succeptabilities and we all have weaknesses. But, that said, happiness, good work ethics, sufficient sleep, managing daily stress, down time, play time, exercise and prayer and meditation all help to manage our succeptability levels.
Warmly, Maria

Re: similar versus identical
TB vaccine is actually illegal due to causing deaths and not preventing any.
This was after a study in India on six million vaccinated children.
TB vaccine tends to prevent leprosy.
Might leprosy nosode help prevent TB?
Or is TB a stronger disease, and is that a factor in prophylaxis or only in actual illness?
