Lyme Nosode discussion

Post by Maria Bohle »

Hello Patty and Dr. Swift,

You have both been saying close to the same thing:
*appropriate* Nosodes is that many of them are having Negative >Reactions
to these Nosodes - some get very ill with what looks exactly like the
*disease* the Nosode is manufactured from & go on to suffer >long-term
while others *just* die...

May I ask for some more information on this?

I tend to be sensitive to remedies myself, so just 'popping' a 200C or 1M
makes me nervous.

I have given 'children' nosodes instead of vaccinations when the parents
requested it, one 200C and I tend to hold at that, at the time their
pediatricians 'demand' to have something on their vaccination card.

Now, I have not noticed any ill effects, but will not discount that this
is a possibility. I feel that the potentised remedy must be a bit safer
than the
allopathic dose of the average shot.

I have also, on occastion, given a dose of the nosode 'before or after'
(not both) a vaccination shot. I did this with own grown children who
are in miliary service and the vaccinations are manditory. Again, have
not noticed an averse reaction, except once when one of my kids got a
very sore arm from the yellow fever vaccine, the arm pain lasted a few
days and dissapeared. I passed my kids onto a professional homeopath for
treatment of their chronic complains and this homeopath does not believe
in this practice so I have not continued it with them.

Again, let me emphasize, that I have done the above so rarely that I
would not rely on my results as enough of a test to make a decision on
this practice.

One of my BIH tutors (for the Veterinarian Homeopathy Course) uses the
Lyssin nosode as a 'heads up" for dogs who are about to get the rabies
vaccine. I believe he uses the 30C potency, a couple of doses before,
but don't quote me as I must check with him to be sure of his dosing
schedule. The problem in the USA is that Rabies vaccine is manditory and
I am going to have to give it to my own puppy (she had one as a puppy and
is ready for the next one.)

I am most happy to hear your experiences, and please excuse me if you
discusses some of this before, I am trying to keep up with the readings
on this list, but my time sometimes is short.

Thanks,

Warmly, Maria

why dont you have a homepathic vet certify the shots (without giving it) or certify the prophylaxis with homeopathy. if we can get our kids into schools without vaccines, i cant imagine not doing that with our pets.

Maria,

I would just say that if an individual is sensitive to a remedy, whether a
nosode or not, the VF can be disrupted by giving it. A reasonably healthy VF
should be able to re-set itself as it does after a proving. However, if the
remedy is given repeatedly, the damage can be serious. It seems most of the
responses to this issue have been essentially the same idea. I would pursue
getting a vaccine exemption for a pet before I would vaccinate with or
without giving Lyssin or other nosode. Local ordinances generally allow for
exemptions if a vet states that he/she feels that the vaccine would be
injurious to the animal

When I lived in Israel, where vaccinations are pushed very seriously
with culpabilisation of the parents who refuse, I used the following
technique, first with children who reacted to a previous vaccine, then
later on as a "protection" even for those who did not.

1-2 days before vaccination, the Nosode of the VACCINE (not the disease)
in 30C

The day after, and over 3 days 200, 1M and 10M of the VACCINE

Arnica, Ledum, Hypericum if and as needed

With this practice, in 7 years over there, I did not see a single
reaction to vaccination in children treated that way; this of course
does not mean anything as I did not have hundreds of them, but quite a
few who reacted before but could not be convinced not to be revaccinated
were protected that way.

It is an option.
