Mind set vs. greed

Post by Roger B »

Turmeric has some very impressive scientific, traditional, and anecdotal credentials for solving all kinds of health issues. (Dissolving it in butter or other healthy oils enhances it very much.) Notice that health insurance companies DO NOT cover turmeric but do cover all sorts of things that health minded people would never put into their bodies. Most all health insurance companies are run by conventional medical doctors. If greed was the only force that causes the problems that we see with conventional medicine and their health insurance companies, then they would be delighted to cover purchases of turmeric and curcumin. They would go out of their way to cover turmeric since it would do so much good and cost them so little. But they don't cover turmeric or ANY other natural remedy. The explanation is that there is a mind set, a cult like mind set, that every doctor has brainwashed into him when he goes to medical school. It is a freaking cult, and it will continue for as long as the public worships at their feet.

Our task should be to educate people about how they should take responsibility for their own health. People need to know that they can heal themselves with the help of natural healers and even conventional medical doctors sometimes. But people first need to know that it is possible to heal themselves and that they are ultimately responsible for being healthy; if they don't take responsibility for healing themselves, it won't happen.

I 95% healed my crimped disk between my L5 and S1 vertebra. I did not use conventional medical doctors at all, except to have an x-ray taken at a local imagining company. I am not saying this because I want to brag. I am saying this to encourage others to take charge of their health and stop waiting for conventional medical doctors to come to their rescue and save them. I tell people wherever I go; I know that they think that I am a foolish old man, but they can't deny that I said it and they eventually will realize that I said it only because it is true and that it could be true for them.

I fully agree with you.
Besides - when a doctor tells someone "You have two years left to live and must take these drugs to live that long" it implies:
"You have only two years left if you follow my ideas"
....So CLEARLY......GO ....find some better ideas!
Unless of course you LIKE only having two years of drug induced suffering left of your life.

Is that not common sense?
Well, Apparently not - but WHY not?
It's not like doctors have a great record of success, they have a DISMAL one.

People are mentally LAZY. Our modern upbringing tells us not to rock the boat - NOT to think for oursleves.
Just to follow the herd...sheeple are churned out by our "education" system.
ALL want their hands held - and that is all that the education system does - hold hands of babies - through university.
When does any kid get exam questions that require actual thinking?????
How do they get practice thinking without that?

It is work to find another idea. One actually has to think - independently. Perish the thought!
Much easier to swallow drugs for two years (or less) and drop dead, right?
Society is conditioned that way. Don't blame te doctors, they are just greasing their palms with the sad results.
Learning to think is a skill. It is NOT being taught.

Namaste,

I believe that medical doctors are absolutely, positively convinced without the slightest iota of doubt that they have a monopoly on health truth, and this and other character traits they have acquired, mostly thanks to medical school, cause people to believe them. This gives people a sense of certainty and confidence. If people would only think and notice that doctors are not doing too great with their own health and that they have a pretty bad record of healing degenerative diseases, they might realize that it is all B.S.

I would love to list all of the diseases that are supposedly incurable. I am sure that a collapsed disk (what I healed 95%) would be on that list.
