Atheism

Post by healthinfo6 »

It would be fascinating, if not enlightening :) to discuss these topics with you, but alas this is not the place.
My questions are based on the point Soroush was trying to make, which must be important enough for him to briefly violate the forum rules he adheres to, to not discuss religion.
This is about lack of religion, so technically should not be a violation to further discuss it as the overall topic is not solely about you and I don't remember any discussions about it..
You recently mentioned you were an atheist, which has various definitions, some are:
"Atheism is not a disbelief in gods or a denial of gods; it is a lack of belief in gods. Older dictionaries define atheism as "a belief that there is no God.".
"Atheism is, in a broad sense, the rejection of belief in the existence of deities. In a narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.
Most inclusively, atheism is the absence of belief that any deities exist."
Thus, being an atheist implies not following a religion which is your prerogative and if so for you, no need to elaborate.
NON-religiously, does your atheism preclude believing in or awareness of any other higher power, forces, metaphysics, law of attraction, karma, what goes around comes around, synchronicity (meaningful coincidences), meditation to reach one's higher self, soul, connect with spirit guides and these type of ideas OR believe that events happen randomly, luck and coincidences are just serendipity and one can do say, act however they wish (within accepted legal laws), fearlessly, without worry that there could be negative repercussons by flagrantly ignoring the concept that there is an orderly intelligent consciousness in the universe that may govern and enforce rules. This usually includes a belief in a soul and after life without the religious overtones of heaven and hell.
Or put simply, the belief that there are natural universal forces with rules/laws that when not observed can exact retribution while also providing guidance, assistance to those who do observe the rules/laws
You also recently mentioned Silica is your core remedy. If so, how did you determine that?

I will try to make a very long story short....so affirmations without demonstrations, not quite like myself....

I do know about karma and reincarnation because I have been given the information about why I am here, why I returned from my own free will, what happened to me in my previous life (but only the strict "need to know")....so it is not a belief, it is a fact. And I have seen karma acting and giving its rewards.

I often say "I have no beliefs, only knowledge". When I do not know something I just say so, and that is it. I do know there are different, multiple and infinite realities as demonstrated by physicists: we live in an 11 dimensions universe and there are an infinite number of parallel universes....and in quantum physics, parallel do cross, so there can be interactions (I could talk a few hours about that).

Higher powers? I would call that different "powers" or rather abilities.

Remember the post I wrote about my cousin Grock? part of the information I have been given is that I (hence we, by extension) am an avatar of Grock, like in the famous "Second Life" game/website...so, me, Joe, is only a projection of Grock, the same way that the avatar you create in a game is a projection of yourself. And I was given that information because I was stuck and not progressing, so Grock used his "Joker" to let me know what was happening so that I could continue.
That being said, within the very wide limits of the game, I have total independence, that is the whole purpose of it, otherwise there is no learning and experience....and although Grock could turn the "computer" off at any time, he(me) is the one who will lose everything if he does that.

BTW, there have been a few sci-fi movies made around this theme, can't remember their names now, but I loved them, probably because they resonated with an innate knowledge I was not conscious of at that time.

Intelligent consciousness of the universe: that would make the universe in which we live a living entity of which we would be part, like cells are part of a living being....a cell misbehaves, it is lead to apoptosis or destroyed by the immune system...it could be, I do not know, therefore it is not relevant to me.

Silica was determined by a very experienced homeopath.

I still would like an answer from Soroush, that would be the minimum of courtesy...

Joe.

Dear Joe

Sorry I did not answer you earlier.

I have a problem with my eyes and so spend the time I have when the eyes work well on essentials.
Also on Minutus we do not discuss religion or politics unless they directly relate to health matters.
If you would like us to exchange on this topic, then we should either do it as an off topic or privately. You chose.
Best wishes

Soroush

Sorry about your eyes....if I can help somehow????

The thing is I did not understand at all what you were talking about so I would like to know what you meant. And as you sent it to the list, and maybe some other members are interested, I think it should be public and OT, I have no problem with that.
