Help for my friend...

Post by Vicki Satta »

My friend's situation:

*She is petite, in perfect physical shape and 30 y. o.
*Young, energetic like a bee buzzing around; no health complaints except the skin.
*She is kind and loving and is the foundation of this family. She recently began sending her kids to private school because her schedule is unpredictable and she can pick them up late if she has a conflict w/her work. But it means she needs to work harder to pay the tuition!
*She is doing all of this work for her kids, but the work/chemicals and toxins appear to be the cause of her skin problems.
*Skin on face is not acne, or so it appears
* No itching
* She has used "natural creams" that don't work for the skin condition
* She wakes up at "night and can't go back to sleep (at least 1 x per week)
* Skin is worse when she has her period. Does that seem to be out of line with the chemical/toxicity thought?
* Skin break-out started about 2 months ago
* two days a week she works in housekeeping for an apartment building, where she uses a lot of chemical sprays

Schedule:

* Three days a week she works as a team member cleaning offices in a commercial office building
* She cleans a historical mansion belonging to a foundation owned by a corporate beer magnate
* She has 2 young children, ages 11 and 6, so she never has a moment to breathe!
* She's supposed to have Sunday off, but ends up doing housekeeping of helping people like me who need help periodically with heavy cleaning! But when she helps me we use vinegar!

I really believe she is being attacked by the toxins in the cleaning supplies, in which case the protocol won't help, right? I encouraged her to ask the boss for a different assignment that doesn't include the chemicals but she's afraid to lose her job.

I pretty much believe that the problem won't be solved unless she stops using the chemicals in her work. What do you suggest? I also suggested that she get some surgical masks and wears them when working with chemicals. Any other thoughts you might have are appreciated.

What'd u think?

Thanks
Vicki

Diet

* She knows she's not drinking enough water. She carries the water bottle but it is busy working to drink from it. She also drinks artesian water. Smart girl, isn't she?
* Her primary diet is Mexican food that her husband cooks!

What'd u think?

Thanks
Vicki
