I hope you don’t drink your tea at 212F / 100C!!
If you put your remedy IN your beverage to drink it, you are consuming remedy.
If you rinse out your spoon or glass, you are throwing away everything that touches it.

The only specific one I'm aware of was a wonderful case written up quite a few years back by the late, lamented Greg Bedayn. He described watching a homeless(?) acquaintance spiraling down into increasingly extreme Hyoscamus state. In a move whose practical and ethical implications could be debated twelve ways from Sunday, Greg (if I'm remembering right) dropped Hyos 10M into the guy's steaming coffee, wondering whether it would survive the hot coffee to do its work. Short version, it did, and not long after the fellow was back on the street cleaned up, in fresh clothes, applying for jobs.

From a practical standpoint, we know there are very few one-dose miracles when it comes to chronic care, and I do wonder what happened then… But in any case, it was clear that the remedy had worked, quickly and deeply.

That's the only case I've heard involving near-boiling liquid, but it stuck in my memory and does seem to answer that question.

My late husband had a lot of chronic problems. I used palliative care for him for the last few years of his life, he was on no allopathic medicines except pain meds and was quite comfortable and functional until his vital force gave out.

I used to put all kinds of remedies and tinctures right in his morning coffee, it was an easy way for me to administer them and they worked just fine.

hmm yes I guess then is boiling hot different than fresh hot coffee or tea?
or is boiling utensils not an accurate way to steralize bottles or spoons touched by remedies?
