Astigmatism

Post by healthinfo6 »

Can homeopathic treatment fix an astigmatism?
Astigmatism is an optical defect in which vision is blurred due to the inability of the optics of the eye to focus a point object into a sharp focused image on the retina. This may be due to an irregular or toric curvature of the cornea or lens.
Usually corrected with eyeglasses, contact lenses, or refractive surgery (LASIK)

Constitutional works best. Also check Physostigma and concordants.

Thanks Victoria and John.
I had a right eye astigmatism most of my life corrected with eyeglasses.
The past year, I noticed my vision worse with glasses.
An eye exam last month revealed no more astigmatism correction needed with improved 20/12 vision.
I thought it must be due to homeopathy vs. age related physical changes.
I haven't read any info that astigmatisms may correct naturally as one ages.
If due to homeopathy, it came after years of ascending on my constitutional upto LM25 or being on TubK LMs much of the past year. More likely the latter since last year I still needed the astigmatism correction.
This isn't the first unexpected improvement from homeopathy and reinvigorates me to keep taking daily LMs to eventually reach Shangri-La aka Hahnemann's description of cure.

Susan . .
It probably was the Tuberculinum. Tub is the primary remedy for astigmatism. I recently had a case of myopia improve after Ars.
Will wonders never cease?

John,
Lo and behold, Tub is the only remedy for astigmatism in Boericke.
Wonder why if only remedy there, it is italicized.
How in the Tub proving did they figure out someone developed an astigmatism?
That suggests that astigmatism is from the Tub miasm.
More impetus to go further on Tub
Meanwhile, it is written Tub/Calc follow each other well, so I took a Calc intercurrent break
