Saliva Testing

Post by Sara Klein Ridgley PhD »

I have used the services of Great Smokies Laboratories for this purpose
and all other testing purposes for patients.

They now have an online facility that caters to the clients directly.
For less than $60 post paid both ways, the clients can order ONLINE
their hormone test and get the results both in PDF format online, and
through the mail.

Go to:

http://www.bodybalance.com

The test for the three hormones, Estradiol, Progesterone and
Testosterone is called FEMALE CHECK.

There are also tests for males, for stress, for other hormones, hair
analysis, urine tests, etc., all affordable, no need for prescription,
and they are fairly accurate.

I use them all the time.

I think that is where Archeus gets thiers but the difference is that there
are herbalists on staff and include suggestions as to what to give if you
purchase the kits from them directly. I don't think Great smokies will do
that. You can check with them.

With the results from Great Smokies that my clients bring to me (or
email me...) I then suggest what they take, as I know to differentiate
between the various types of hormonal imbalances. Sometimes those might
be herbs, but as a Homeopath, I would more likely focus on remedies AND
regimen, according to Hahnemann.

Nutri Ltd used to offer testing using the Great Smokies Laboratory in the
UK. Unless it has changed they have a freephone number 0800 212742 - let me
know if the number does not work and I will see if I have another one.

Karen
