Caudea Equina and Hemachromotosis

Post by sunny sunny »

Have a patient with cauda equina syndrome post fall 3 years ago. Prolapsed anus. Needed mechanical help if constipated, if diarrhea diapers. No money for surgery. Knows it is a surgical case.
Numbness over the sacral area with tingling and formication in the buttocks.

Films reveal herniated disks abutting the spinal cord both in the neck and lumbar region. 9 herniated disks, stenosis and arthritic changes seen.

Sleeps in the side position (can't sleep on her back) with pillows between legs and neck rolls under the shoulders and single pillow under the head.
When she rolls over at night pain from lumbar to legs in a wave lasts for several minutes and subsides during which whole lower half breaks out in a sweat that can wet the bed.
Does not sleep for over an hour at a time and has to change positions. Lack of sleep is not a problem for her but is chronic. Does not take stimulants to get her going in the am.

Has incomplete emptying of the bladder and urinalysis shows UTI though she is asymptomatic.

Recent history of hepatic billary colic relieved by lycopodium and nux cleared the colic.
Recent labwork showed excess serum iron hemachromotosis again asymptomatic.
Are there any remedies that anyone has had success with for me to consider?

Neck pain radiates to arms (positional) can wake with numbness.
Her worst time is sleeping and seems to be positional tosses and turns all night.

Responded well to causticum and bellis per. in the beginning. Now most of her symptoms confirmed by labwork are asymptomatic so not sure how to rep.
ie the bladder infection go for incomplete emptying of the bladder?

Recent grief issues family member in hospice for months. Extreme fear loss of family has subsided somewhat now.
Not thirsty but likes cold not iced drinks but used to chew ice in younger days.
Eats a live food, organic, gluten and GMO free vegan diet.

Has age spots on the arms and hands and one spot on the left cheek very small.

3 years menopausal and only during the hot months (only a window unit AC) gets hot flushes only on movement. when she wakes if if very still no flush but when she rolls over or reaches for something it starts.

Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Sunny

Reference Works Herniated disc Morrison Belladonna
Low back pain with pains extending upwards.
Back pain, herniated discs with great aggravation from motion or jarring.
Also in Ref works Allan has Belladonna in rubric for proplapsed anus with itching and a a constrictive feeling
Probably not helpful but sending this search on,
Would wonder about Hypericum as must be pressure on nerves .

Thanks Jean will try the Bell. Gave a lot of hypericum with very little effect. Even went to three different bottles from different manufacturers as we were so sure it should work.

Strangely here in FL in the last 2 years it has not helped any of my patients with neuropathy where in years ago it always worked. In fact many patients were sent to me just for that because of my results. Not sure what happened although chemtrails may be a factor, not sure.

Wondering what role the GMO's are playing as well.
Is anyone having any great results with neuropathy? Many causes: diabetes, nerve impingement, MS, aspartame, nutritional deficiencies, etc. If so what are you using? IF nutritional deficiencies we are also Rx diet and sometimes supplements depending on the case and if they are really willing to eat enough of the foods needed to correct the issue. (some just want a pill instead of changing their lifestyle- sigh).

Thanks for your help.

When you say high doses of vitamin E and fish oil, could you be a little more specific?

Well, I'll say what I do, and I'm fending off neuropathy here and there, with my other Psoric stuff. I drink a deodorized fish oil, about a tablespoonful daily, and, although I eat both turmeric and ginger and lots of mixed hot pepper, a capsule would certainly help.
