We ought to be asking not only about other remedies, but other conditions, like cancer . . what rx do you use to treat it, and what's your protocol for applying it?

Conditions.....
The short answer: depends on the patient....that is the usual spiel....
The longer answer, my personal approach to conditions....which is to approach "patients with conditions".
Especially in life threatening, dangerous situations that are in fact the final result of a long evolution, I do believe that homeopathy (the deep technique) works better if the patient is alive and well (or at least better).
Therefore I address the condition first while restoring health as much as possible, only then, when that stage is obtained, going deeper. And at times both approaches can be working simultaneously.
An example of 2 days ago, very schematic as I do not have full permission to publish.
This 38 years old lady just had a mastectomy for L breast cancer; she is asking questions about chemotherapy from the point of view of natural health and if it is possible to replace chemo with"natural stuff".
Follows an explanation of what I offer in order to allow the body to prevent recurrences and destroy remaining cancerous cells, explaining that an important part is to restore the immune system that did not pick up the malignancy, starving the cells and using nutrition and supplements and herbs to do the rest...so of course my usual spiel about diet, supplements and other approaches.
But one thing annoyed me: she is extremely young for a breast cancer, and there is not obvious causes like direct trauma, irradiation, toxins, hormones.
As we proceed with the usual history and anamnesis, this appears: her periods were never regular, only every 3 months, but now in the last 6 months, they have become normal, monthly and without any problem; she has been in a stable relationship for 20 years but has not children....something she did not investigate at all (!) but claims to have accepted, at which time there is a twitch in her face...so I insist "how do you feel about not having children?" "I have accepted that" with another twitch; so I become a bit more rude; "so you are OK with being barren?" Then she changes colours and bursts in tears, starts talking. The root of her cancer was a "maternal issue" (known link, see Louise Hay and Narayan Singh) that finally created that tumour. It all fitted together perfectly well.
On to treatment, she will go through a total lifestyle change, change her nutrition, do a detox, etc,....my usual stuff (ODD) and take the remedy indicated for her state of mind regarding her sterility. Then we will work on that if need be, because the good news is that her periods having suddenly become normal, fertility might have been restored, so I taught her the temperature method to check for ovulation.
Same approach goes for everything. A patient with heart failure needs his heart and related organs restored to as optimal as possible function before going deeper.
Nothing specific.
Everything individual.
