Dear Reader,

You must be aware that the writeup on "Homeopathy" as given on the Wikipedia website doesn't represent the true definition of homeopathic system of medicine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homeopathy). At many places the write up gives wrong information, biased references, and half cooked knowledge to readers. As many people rely on Wikipedia for information, especially general public, a wrong and misleading impression goes regarding Homeopathy.
Whenever anyone signs this petition online, Wikipedia will be intimated via email. Therefore, I request you please sign this petition and share this email to your friends, colleagues and association members, so that a large number of people sign this petition.

Let us all show our strength as Homeopaths and come forward to save Homeopathy!

Your 02 minutes of time, will definitely create a Change!

I thought the whole point about wiki is that "many" contributors could participate in the write-up of anything on the webstite.

You thought wrong. As long as the entry stays within the confines of what the mainstream thinks is real, your entry will be OK. Otherwise, it will get removed faster than you can say "Samuel Hahnemann". This includes cold fusion, homeopathy, just about anything that is on the fringe.

Yes, this is why

Wikipedia is never used in scholarly work,
The British Institute does not allow our students to refer to Wikipedia as part of their course submissions.
I think it is fine for personal use, but not reliable in serious studies.

I find the references useful, though.

And the "exact" sciences like maths, chemistry are pretty correct...after all they are not really open to discussion and interpretation, except in the upper levels of new discoveries.
