Its winter now in tropical Brisbane & my thoughts are turning towards our Homeopathic Retreat in Nepal at the end of the year. Our winter is mild & beautiful compared to the cold crisp days that the Himalayan Mountains can bring to Kathmandu! - NOTE! Bring your winter woollies on your retreat!
I have just spoken to Dr Pradhanang in Kathmandu & he has excitedly told me that he is about to leave to attend 2 weeks of conferences with our fabulous George Vithoulkas in Greece. For a Nepali man this is an exceptional event & for Dr Pradhanang one that will open the world to his work in clinics & schools in Nepal.
Dr Pradhanang has also recently opened a Homeopathic public library in the middle of Kathmandu city, where the local folk can go to improve their knowledge of Homeopathy. As Homeopathic Medicines are readily available in Nepal & as Homeopathy is one of the Nepali leading medical systems, this initiative is a wonderful contribution. Not only to Homeopathy but also to the impoverished & mostly poorly educated people of that beautiful Himalayan country.
