Dr. Sahni,
Appendix and ovarian cysts have already been ruled out (they'd been
investigated on other indications). Renal calculus hasn't been mentioned as
a psosibility, so I'll look into that.
Many thanks!

Thanks, Tanya!
There's no other evidence of rheumatic or arthritic problems, but "referred
pain" is an interesting thought. Could you say referred from where? Is
there an organ correspondence that you know of?

I'll be interested to see what Tanya answers you too Shannon... referred
pain *can* be muscular or tendon or attachments in origin (going back to my
original reply to you) not *only* organ related... could also be
nerve-oriented pain referral... somehow I don't think my reply actually
answered you other than to give you more question options for your patient
:-)

Respectfully yours,

Dear Shannon,
Pl also investigate for PIVD as in many cases the symptoms being refered in the said case may be due to narrowing of disc space between L5 & S1.
Regards,
Dr.Sahni
