Western Chemical Analysis of Foods

Post by Roger B »

Dear Ya'all,

I was looking at the Western chemical analysis of the nutritive content of ginger and turmeric; you know, the vitamins, minerals, the Daily Value the carbohydrates, and so forth. I know of my own experience that turmeric is a powerful anti-inflammatory. www.greenmedinfo.com has a very high opinion of turmeric. I assume that the good things that are said about ginger are also true. From the Western chemical analysis of ginger and turmeric, there is absolutely no reason to take them seriously as sources of good nutrition or health.

What does this say about the Western Chemical Analysis of Foods? I will leave it to the reader to figure that out.

Sincerely,
Roger Bird
