I totally agree, Fran. I have been very tempted to just leave this group because of the utter childishness and mean-spiritedness that keeps cropping up here. I am here because I am interested in exploring more about homeopathy and ideas of that nature. I am so not interested in who did what to whom and in watching these duels to the death about who is right and who is not. Yet, I am seeing a lot of uncontrollable obsessive reactivity going on, time after time. It is draining and totally without any constructive merit for anyone. Especially the reluctant onlookers.
A little (read: a LOT!!!) introspection would do wonders for some and benefit the rest of us as well. Grandstanding only feels good to the performers, I can assure you all!
This whole situation is very destructive and frankly, it's embarrassing to be associated with people who are supposed to be "healers" and who can act this way. Whatever happened to "first, do no harm"? That applies to all aspects of a person, including their hearts, minds, emotions. This situation is so far from that credo that the two are not even within view of each other.
Thank you for voicing this, Fran. I hope something changes here for the better.
Agi

Hi,

We are all homeopaths or love homeopathy and we know that everyone is different. Everyone has their own weaknesses. If homeopaths have problems, it is their business. I certainly have my problems. I treat myself as I treat my patients. That is with kindness. If some weakness comes out on the forum, it's ok. Not good to keep doing it, but ok to have a weakness. Either side of a conflict is dealing with themselves more than another person. So I read these conflicts in the same way that I read a case.
At the same time it is very good that any of us feel free to say "cool it".
I get really irritated with all this personal junk that comes out and that is my personal issue. I don't think we all have to be good all the time. We are what we are at this moment.
I like this group even better because participants are real. The emotion behind email messages are fairly transparent. We are what we are. I think if we were all perfect, I just would not believe it and I would leave. I am not going to leave because imperfections show up.

Blessings,
Ellen

Well said.
I don't think we have an archive on this list for 'wise words', but
until we do, I would nominate this mail as a candidate.

Hello list,

Thank you Tanya, Fran, Agi and Ellen. I'm glad I'm not the only one that was feeling disappointed in the language often conveyed in a
deflamatory tone and other unprofessional behaviour. I was simply speaking about the list on the whole over a period of time and NOT
pointing any fingers at anyone! That is definitely not my interest. Much of the time my sentiments agree with yours Agi and I don't have
time to waste viewing destructive rather than constructive post material.

That is all I have further to say…subject closed for me!

Lovely Ellen, may we all take note of your wise words ;)

Warmly,
Tani
