I don't know how others feel by I dislike the airing of other people's
"dirty laundry" on the list - true or not.

It is like a family squabble.

Please can we pull ourselves together and move away from this?

Considering Homoeopaths are supposed to be non-judgemental, unbiased good listeners with low egos it appears there is a little too much ego going round
I find this type of bickering and such-like on the list VERY unattractive and gives an unfavourable light upon ourselves as both practitioners and adult people.
So sad, can we please just get down to respectful homoeopathy

Just seems that when I get a chance to take a look at some posts here sometimes there is often some unpleasant discussion going on and I
feel that it is this that 'tars' homoeopaths in a general sense

I agree with you in principle but not with how you threw darts around without caring who they hit.
The only person doing any nastiness was Dana.
I raised no "defences" and I did not "bicker" in return.
SO with only one person being ugly ....it is not "bickering" but merely...... one person being ugly.

Others told him to knock it off. They bothered to see who was doing it.
That seemed an end to it - should have been

Bickering implies more than one person at fault. AND you claim a "homeopath" was bickering. Dana is not a homeoapth. I am the only name he uses so that points your unwarranted darts very specifically at me and nobody else. Same with Fran's "dirty laundry" comment with which you agreed.

I'm suggesting - be careful where your darts are aimed. Skip the comments if you do not understand the situation.
It is not good enough to claim they are vaguely thrown at nobody in general, when they can only point to one person with YOUR chosen wording!

I think if the tables were turned you would also feel unduly chastised as a "homeopath" for "bickering" that was specifically NOT done. Please drop the subject now. The real guilty party does not deserve the attention.

Have used very similar words myself Tani.
There is no place for judgmentalism at all.
When people do this it feels like emotional blackmail.
It is disrespectful and unprofessional and lacks human
courtesy.

Hi everyone,

I sent the "dirty laundry" email because personal smears and accusations (possibly unfounded) have been happening for a month or more.

I was not referring specifically to emails of the last couple of days.

The forum should not be a place for us to damage the reputations of others. If they are that bad they will manage that all by themselves.

These unwanted "revelations" are poisoning the well for those who are here to just learn and interact about homeopathy - so stop doing that to us.

They are also particularly unfair to the victims who have no way or defending themselves without also stooping to quibbles and accusations.

The whole thing becomes abusive and exploitive to all of us reading, whether we are directly involved or not.

I totally agree, Fran. I have been very tempted to just leave this group because of the utter childishness and mean-spiritedness that keeps cropping up here. I am here because I am interested in exploring more about homeopathy and ideas of that nature. I am so not interested in who did what to whom and in watching these duels to the death about who is right and who is not. Yet, I am seeing a lot of uncontrollable obsessive reactivity going on, time after time. It is draining and totally without any constructive merit for anyone. Especially the reluctant onlookers.
A little (read: a LOT!!!) introspection would do wonders for some and benefit the rest of us as well. Grandstanding only feels good to the performers, I can assure you all!
This whole situation is very destructive and frankly, it's embarrassing to be associated with people who are supposed to be "healers" and who can act this way. Whatever happened to "first, do no harm"? That applies to all aspects of a person, including their hearts, minds, emotions. This situation is so far from that credo that the two are not even within view of each other.
Thank you for voicing this, Fran. I hope something changes here for the better.
