I just did some research thru Encyclopedia Homeopathica, and it is evident
that in our literature venous stasis is referring more to "impaired
circulation" in general (and cardiac faults contributing), than to
(admittedly related) "modern medical" syndrome "venous stasis disease"
which is defined by Sloan-Kettering Medical Group as "a condition that
occurs as a result of blood pooling in the legs" .. (it makes one wonder if
the specialist who makes recommendations on treating this "disease" ever
wonders what makes the blood decide on extended vacation in lower
extremities...)
This site,
http://www.scvir.org/patient/venous/diagnosis.htm
"Society of Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiology" makes it all clear by
stating:
"Venous stasis disease also is caused by defective values in the veins"
Those darn veins just weren't brought up right - poor morals leads right to
blood pooling..
