Hello Irene,

Thank you for those rubrics and for the thought of the spider remedy.

I will definitely look this over.

Am trying to put together a Genus Epidemicus for these symptoms, which is why I mentioned the diarrhea even though I saw it in only one case, (have spoken to other people who also had that symptoms since then.)

The long term ' exhaustion' like mono or chronic fatigue, as well as the mental 'depression' not quite a case of sadness or depression as in weeping, but low spirits, is prevalent.

so far Gels is working the best with a few cases.

The key is going to be in identifying this one early, the problem is a good 3 weeks old before we even get the hint that the sx that just cleared up were part of a much deeper problem and the case is ongoing.

Warmly, Maria

Hi Maria,

I did hear (not from a msm source) this was going to be a “VERY STRONG” flu season, involving both gastro/respitory, reoccuring and difficult to get over.

So, getting ahead of it with a GE sounds good. Can you post a list of the symptoms so far?
Atb,

Leilanae

Yes and no fever which contradicts flu. It is the overall ' chronic fatigue ' of this case that is standing out. Not really sick enough to be down. But no energy and fuzzy thinking.

Sounds like a viral infection of some kind. It also sounds like toxin.

Yes it does sound viral. Most cases resolved with Gels. They are on their feet now.
I was surprised how many cases of it I had.

Maria,
I was sick from November 8 for over a month. It seemed like a cold that just wouldn't end, each stage longer than usual. No fever but some malaise and even when beginning to feel better and go out, it would come back in waves.
Just wondering if taking a dose of Gels could be useful now for any residual effects as in NBWS.
Thanks!
Susan

Hello Susan,

As Irene has aptly stated, this is a public forum so we cannot make suggestions. Homeopaths will often suggest 'remedies' for other homeopaths to look at if a patient has certain symptoms. '
These suggestions are meant for other 'professionals' as we have be well trained in how to be sure a remedy suggestion fits the case at hand.

The only suggestion I can make in your case is to look over the proving symptoms of Gels and see if it fits your given situation.

Also note, however, homeopaths are usually 'terrible' at finding remedies for themselves or their loved ones. I call it the M & M remedy selection method as I can usually quite easily find a remedy for a client with many symptoms similar to my own but for myself it is like having a bowl of multi colored chocolate M & M candies, as that is what happens when I look in my remedy closet for myself.

"Hmmm, have this symptom - so must need the red M & M. Well that didn't work, so maybe because I have this symptoms I need a yellow one. Ok, yellow didn't work either, so must need a green one, No, purple? brown?, Orange..........

For myself I think in keynotes, I have very little ability to balance what is important in myself and what is not.

I wish you the best.

Warmly, Maria
