My constitutional remedy

Post by katy mclaughlin »

Hello All

I get so so much insight into Homeopathy here. Thanks eveyone. I was considering how you speak of individuals being a particular remedy such as Hanneman being a Lycos. It gave me pause and made me curious as to my own nature and the remedy that has wokred best for me thus far.
As far as I know (my homeopath has stopped sharing remedies with me because I look them up on the internet) I am on my third constitutional remedy in two years of treatment. I started on a cell salt I think Nat Mur...made very little impact.
I was moved to Pulsatilla. I have a young pulsatilla in my house (11 years old) who is mostly cured from her one and only remedy. For me it helped a little but made no big impact.

The third one has made a huge impact because I finally got up the courage to share my real feelings on life as I live it from an emotional point every single day. My remedy for the past few months has been Aurum Met 1M I have taken it three times in water doses and once five spoon method (that was killer!)

Well I can't find much about the personality of an Aurm met but I did notice that when I went to pick it up the clerk was overly sweet to me as if to say..."oh you poor little Aurum Met"

So people ...Is there nothing redeemimg about aurum met personality? I get I have a suidical personality I fight everyday but for heavens sake I haven't pulled the trigger! I have a family a job, a home, and I love to read and study all sorts of science and naturopathy including homeopathy. I have dogs, a garden, and love movies. I volunteer at school and church.

Someone tell me something they know about this remedy.

I'd quit it for the stigma if it didn't work so dang good!!!!!

okay let me know what you think.

Katy,
There is no stigma attached to any remedy. They all have their high points and low points, their ups and downs, depending on how well compensated or decompensated they are.
Mangialavori's take on Aurum-met. is that it is a King so responsible for the welfare of those who depend on him (or her) that he feels unable to do anything for himself (or herself). There's more, of course, but if you really want to read about the good side of Aurum, look for his book on the alchemical metals.
Peace,
Dale
