Complexity “Baked into Obamacareâ€

Post by Cathy Lemmon »

> How can it be organised/influenced so that Obamacare allows Homeopathy?
While I do not agree that the "Affordable Care Act" is what the USA needs right now (I won't get into why I feel this way-- I'll just suffice it to say that I know quite well there are terrible problems with the healthcare system in this nation at the moment. However, having lived where socialized medicine is practised, it's been quite clear to me since well before this "Obamacare" issue has arisen that the concept of allowing the federal government in the USA to make healthcare more affordable has always simply been a convenient front. But Minutus is not a political forum, and I will not discuss this further here.), I wanted to be sure to pass this on again:

The National Center for Homeopathy issued this statement back in May of this year referring not just to homeopathy, but to all forms of CAM:

Making sure that the AFA will allow homeopathy will, indeed, take work on all parts. And we need to make sure this Section 2706 remains in the bill. Here is a brief FAQ list sharing more about Section 2706:

I think the more people who are aware of this provision, the more voices can be raised to make sure it remains. Perhaps this list may be a good starting point?
