blood vessels broken in the eye
blood vessels broken in the eye
What is the best remedy for when the blood vessels spontaneously break in the eye. I would have thought Arnica.
Thanks

No – it was a spontaneous thing. I know that there is a word for it but can’t remember what it is!!

Thanks Irene – Will do. It’s my sister and if it has not gone by the time I see her on Saturday I will give her some. She did take Arnica 30 when it happened but when she went to her Arnica they had all gone sticky. I told her to take them anyway! It hasn’t gone and it has been a week not!!

Re: blood vessels broken in the eye
It's called a Subconjunctival Hemorrhage
Often a result of taking blood thinners, or something as simple as sneezing or coughing hard.
These types of hemorrhages clear up without treatment, usually within 10 days.
Supplementing with vitamin C, or Grape Seed Extract helps strengthen the walls of little blood vessels.
Best,
Lynn

Thanks for that. I thought in the rep there was a name beginning with E but maybe I am mistaken. My sister does a lot of sneezing J She not on medication. I remember I had this once many years ago.

Rochelle, I believe the "e" word you're searching for is "ecchymosis". Judith Mateo - Portland OR

Brain damage can show itself in many ways.
It can have physical and observable sign - as per the cases you have mentioned.
It can have chemical imbalances - like Parkinson's etc.
It can have functional imbalances where the THOUGHT processes are affected.

Good point, Soroush. I seem to impress those around me with my intelligence. Since we know for a fact that some people can have permanent brain damage and still function effectively, you have me on this one, Soroush. There are two cases that I can recall where there was massive brain damage and the person did not seem to have any functional problems whatsoever. One was a girl who grew up with "water on the brain" and who had very little brain cortex, yet she managed to function normally and even get a college degree. Another was a girl with a missing hemisphere. I am sure that there are many more, and many much less severe. It is all a great mystery, but true. Since we have not opened my head up, it might be possible that I have brain damage. Those who disagree with me and dislike me certainly think so. (:->)
