Re: A new homeopathic insect repellent
my experience is that LMS are LESS sensitive to aggs than dry. And I was given a high DRY 10M dose of Lachesis by a famous MD homeopath in the US - TERRIBLE proving and worst headache I ever had, plus gall bladder terrible pain.................long and very distressing story. But finally Nux v was given by another homeopath (this was in the mid 90s)

Just a word of warning...
Lavendar is wonderful but, along with tea-tree, its topicak use has also been implicated in breast growth in pre-pubescent boys. Apparently it mimics eostrogen and inhibits testosterone. I don't know what else it does by way of disrupting hormones.

Re: A new homeopathic insect repellent
It was due to a shove from Sheri that I reopened my homeopathic case with a new practitioner. I had two major complaints, one of which was migraines, and Sheri's story convinced me I should not give up trying to set myself right. The migraines have all but gone, an occasional minor one only now signifying that I need to move up in potency. We are using a nosode in LM, one that no one had found appropriate previously. Anyway, I use a lavender lotion daily, and have done for years, with no apparent antidoting. I was initially taught that lavender was never suppressive, but no word about its homeopathic effects.

Re: A new homeopathic insect repellent
It depends on the person! As well as their condition, and etc. Some people / doses aren't antidoted by *anything* -- not coffee, camphor, mint, whatever.
But others are reliably antidoted by substances that for most people will cause no problem at all.
It depends on the person.

Ceded oil is supposed to be good to repel bed bugs. Also heat as with a blow dryer to kill them

I can assure you that bed bugs are real, very difficult to get rid of, and their
bites can be very painful. As with most things, different people react differently.
My daughter had a massive bed bug infiltration and would have such a horrid
reaction to their bites. My granddaughter, OTH, didn’t seem to notice them at
all and they were in her bed. I got bitten by them when I stayed over and they
were nasty.

"Has it been studied?
In the '60s a homeopath by the name of HR. Trexler studied Staphysagria for its effectiveness at preventing mosquito bites. In a study of 421 subjects over a 4 year period, he found this remedy to be 90% effective.
The principle behind it.
The founder of Homeopathy, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann gave us the principle of homeoprophylaxis when he visited homes wherein one or several family members were stricken with Scarlet Fever. He gave the sick ones Belladonna, a match for the illness based on the Law of Similars. Those in the household exposed to the disease also received a dose of Belladonna to prevent them falling ill. Thus, the principle of dosing a remedy preemptively, 'homeoprophlyaxis,' became part of the practice of homeopathy.
Applied to Mozi-Q, remedies used for the treatment of insect bites and stings should prevent bites and stings...and, that's what Trexler proved in his study.
Susceptible? That is the question!
In infectious illness or bug bites, we have seen that some folks are more susceptible than others. You may have a sister that never gets sick, and a brother that catches every cold and 'flu' going around. You may also have noticed that some get accosted by mosquitoes readily, get many bites that swell and drive them to distraction. Others in the same environment get only one or two bites that disappear quickly without much ado. Simply put, some are more susceptible than others. Mozi-Q is designed to change the individual's susceptibility such that insects are less inclined to bite, and if they do, the effects of the bites subside quickly without the usual suffering.
Combining Forces
The formulator of Mozi-Q *****has added four other plant remedies with similar indications to Staphysagria***** to cover the susceptibility of more people. In their homeopathic potencies, they are non-toxic and safe to use as indicated. At low potency, they do not interfere with other homeopathic treatment."
