Off Topic: Opting out of NSA & Prism

Post by Roger Barr »

If you would like to make your email and search results private and not stored for review by the National Security State, check out www.Startpage.com.

They have a search engine which uses Google without the tracking. You can incorporate it into your browser(s) as your default search engine. And they are developing an email system that wont store your email, as is practiced by Google, Yahoo, etc. It will be available soon. The site is supported by advertising now.

I am doing it on principle, not that I feel I have much of anything to hide. Its a win for the 4th Amendment.

this is good to know. the invasiveness ongoing today is the result of years
of planning and working by those who support fascism=corporatism with its
paranoia and disdain for the public. we need to push back ever harder in
anyway we can.

Hi Roger,

Have been using "Start Page" for a couple of years and am also signed up as a beta tester for the email. (Not available yet, scheduled for sometime this Summer.)

Katherine Albrecht (google for more info) is a leading spokesperson in the area of privacy, especially RFID chips.

Atb,
