Is Predictive Homeopathy a cult? was Seminar DVDs of Predictive Homeopathy

Post by healthinfo6 »

If Julian Winston was around, he would call it as he sees it and not mince words.
It would appear that you are proselytizing if PH was a formal religion.
Based on your own account of this event, appears more cult-like in behavior.
In the afternoon session of the second day, a group of Vedic Pandits blessed Dr.Vijayakar, reciting vedic chantings from ‘Asirvachana mantra’ of ‘Krishna Yajurveda’. The whole hall of Satya Sai Nigamagamam reverberated with their full throated chanting, even while all the organizers stood in reverence surrounding Dr. Vijayakar, honouring him traditionally with a silk shawl and offering him fruits and flowers. It was a sight to see and enjoy. Every one of us in the audience also resonated with the sacred and serene atmosphere ushered in with those divine chantings and wished Dr. Vijayakar from the bottom of our hearts, a long life of health and happiness and continued service in the cause of true Hahnemannian Homeopathy or Predictive Homeopathy as Dr.Vijayakar preferred to call it.

Can one imagine Hahnemann allowing and encouraging himself to be worshipped like a diety in this way?
Has "guru" Dr. Vijayakar created a cult and is susceptible disciple V T Yekkirala an example of a zealous follower?
Since cults involve religious aspects, discussion of them in full would not be allowed on Minutus, so one should do their own due diligence before adopting any philosophy.that dictates what is and what is not of God's nature.

Susan,

If you can't understand or appreciate how Indian customs or
traditions honour their teachers, you need to ask rather than
trying to deride whatever is foreign to your culture.

I leave it to the list administrator to see if this kind of religious intolerance and bashing is allowed on this list.

On one side you hold your belief that homosexality can't be reversed using homeopathy and on the other hand you are afraid to be treated by the PH Method. You need to introspect as to your own self-contradictions of this nature and come to terms with your own realities rather than projecting them on whoever presents cases that don't confirm to your belief systems.

V T Yekkirala.

Dear VT,
Dr. Ramakrishnan is Indian and lives in Mumbai, I don't hear him being worshipped the same way.
Is there dancing, chanting and kvelling towards him especially since he "cures" cancer?
Do students at his and other homeopathic clinics in India, like the Choudhurys, break into religious chant after lecture? Do students pray with them after class?
Through your own admission, PH and Dr. Vijayakar are being celebrated similar to or as part of your religion and/or incorporated as an extension.
Is your religion and customs different than other Indian homeopaths?
Do we have evidence of other homeopathic groups, meetings breaking into a religious based celebration?
Did Kent, et al, offer praver services after teaching homeopathy?
If a Jew, a Muslim and a Christian attended the training session you wrote about and stayed seated and didn't partake in the final revelry, would they be ostracized as disrespectful?
Since religion is a prohibited topic on Minutus, your promotion of and proselytizing of PH and Dr. Vijaykar should also be prohibited.
If PH is not a religion then how am I religiously intolerant?
If PH is not a religion then I can further show it behaves as a cult.

Surely the important point here would be how well the method WORKS…?

Let's leave culture, religion, personality and personal inclinations (of the teachers OR the students) out of it, and let's just stick to how well the method WORKS. Everything else is just distraction and division.

Cheers

Shannon,
As usual, have you read up on the methods and philosophies or any cases of PH?
Besides reversing homesexuality, PH also claims to reverse clairvoyance, psychics.to "normal"
You're welcome to purchase the DVD set and let us know what you find.
