What is it with dog's reaction to people on remedies?

I used to visit a friend with a dog and the dog barked non-stop while I was
there(I was on nux vomica off and on during that time). The friend moved and
when I would visit...the dog was all over me with love and kisses, etc. I
visited another friend in last few months with a dog and the dog was real
friendly to me. I had taken the remedy Lac C a couple of months ago...based
on symptoms moving from side to side..but also the clinker for the prescriber
was that I liked to scare cats. Then I took a dose of nux vomica on my own
for heartburn..and when I visited the other friend with the dog...and there
were 4 people there...that dog only barked at me, showed teeth, followed me
around....didn't know two of the other people..but it was barking only at me.
It finally calmed down and lay sort of close to me.

I wonder if this could be a marker for when someone needs nux vomica..if dogs
are always barking at them? I don't know..it is just weird. My son has two
dogs that always barked when I came in...but under the Lac c...they didn't
bark anymore when I walked in the door. Anyone have any related stories about
animals and their reactions to a change of remedies, etc?

Think about the energy of Nux v. There are some strong, negative aspects
to this remedy with anger and irritation included. The dog may have been
feeling this.
I had a cat once that was giving me a dilemma for a remedy for her. At the
time I was taking a constitutional remedy for myself. This cat was very
tuned into me. She would settle into my chest and just try to wrap me up
like a female cat will do to its litter. The cat’s condition completely healed.
I find animals very sensitive to the remedies so it may not be a specific
marker for Nux that you saw, but a general reaction to the remedy energy.
