intervertebral degeneration

Post by helensan8 »

I am working with a Gulf War vet who was exposed to sarin nerve gas, which degenerated a large percentage of the discs in his spine. He had to have a metal rod put in his spine to hold it up. Current symptoms are limited mobility and mild to moderate continuous pain.

Any advice on where to start with this sort of case? Chemical assault? Surgical trauma? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don’t know that you can do very much with the degeneration of the discs, especially since
there is a rod in there. I would try to take the case in total and see what he wants to work on
as a priority.
Read sections dealing with spine and nerves and deal with his mental/emotional issues.

Not homeopathy but EFT tapping has been used successfully on Vets for the emotional stuff. Loads on the web about it.

You start with the whole case and all of the symptoms - what is his main complaint? Usually homeopathy can't restore irreversible damage, but certainly can help his whole being. You don't need to label it - ie chemical assault, surgical trauma - can't look those up as rubrics. We don't treat according to what we think is the cause. We treat the whole symptom picture, determining what are the most important symptoms, most unique symptoms.

Hope that helps. Terrible for these vets. My partner has PTSD and more from his time in Vietnam

So sorry to hear that Sheri. I worked with a Parkinson’s case a bit ago with
much chemical exposure from Vietnam. The death rate among veterans
is so high due to chemical exposure. Iraq is even worse I fear.

It sounds like a case for detox, healing and regeneration.
Try homeopathy first, because it sounds like he needs an intensive detox however, there are many ways to do a good detox and you can also use naturopathy as well traditional Chinese medicine to detox the Sarin. Chlorophyll or green drinks are good and coriander can remove certain metals.

As for the cartilage in between vertebra, cartilage can be enhanced but it takes al long time to grow back. Glucosamine and chondroitin taken together are good for cartilage regeneration and the healing joints. There are some good homeopathic remedies to enhance this kind of healing, but you need to consult with a trained homeopathic practitioner to get the right homeopathic remedy.

Calcium-magnesium citrate combination is good for both bone generation and nerve impulses.
Cal and mag are both neurotransmitters. I would also suggest a product called Concentrace
By a company called Liquimins. The idea is that both bone generation and nerve implies rely on ions-- that is--trace minerals.

From what I understand, there are some healing frequencies in Rife. Otherwise you may want to look up Sharry Edwards (do a Google search, or contact me off list--in subj. heading). She does a lot of healing with sound frequencies that she has personally developed. She is
reputed to have had some great successes. She has a back and a bone program as well. You may want to inquire with her. She is very responsive.

Good luck. You have quite a set of challenges before you.

Also, has he seen a chiropractor?

I wonder if the 5 in 1 Phosphorus cell salts would help, Calc Phos for bone strength, Ferrum phos inflammation, Magn phos spasm, Kali phos nervous exhaustion and Nat phos to promote alkaline environment. They are known as building blocks, Vit Ki1, Boron , Vit D3
. Was in lots of pain in past but discs degenerated Nux Vom
: In a case of Fleisher Ref Works
Emotional support, EFT{as Rochelle suggested] remedies as indicated.

Thank goodness we got compensation finally for Joe, 2 years ago.

It definitely has been a battle for these people to get any kind of compensation.
How many years of fighting did it take to get them to admit that the chemicals used
in the war caused these damages to American service people!!
And the radiation damage from all the DU is astronomical. The deformities of Iraqi
children is heart rending. We don’t hear much about those deformities in American
survivors but they are there. A woman in my community had gone to Iraq with 2 other
women just before the 1st Gulf War. This woman, an artist, became involved with the
DU problem and put together an incredible photo exhibit on it. It traveled around for
some time—not sure what she ultimately did with it. Part of the exhibit focused on
the American human damage. Very dramatic and meaningful work that she did.
Also, we should not forget the enforced multiple vaccinations foisted on service people--
often using physical restraint to give them the shots
