renal failure and more

Post by helensan8 »

I'm sorry I can't find the original threads to reply to. I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my inquiries re dosage (Dale) and renal failure rubric. You guys are too kind.

Sheri, yes, this is Helen from Peru, except now I'm in the States.

My father is still not doing well. The phos helped his respiratory problems significantly, but his other organs are failing. First the kidneys, then 2 days ago he had to be resuscitated because his blood pressure dropped precipitously after dialysis. He is emaciated and looks like he's dying.

I'm afraid I don't know what else to do. But I did want to thank everyone. I never got to reply to you all in a timely manner, and I didn't want you to think I didn't appreciate your responses.

Best always,
Helen

Helen,
I'm sorry to hear your dad is not doing well. Having gone through this three years ago with my mother, who was in the hospital for pulmonary emboli, I know how difficult it is to treat under such circumstances. In her case, they did not discover she had significant bradycardia (pulse of 39) until they were on the verge of discharging her. She was terribly weak, not very lucid, and certainly felt as if she were dying.
The medical lesson I learned was not to let the docs off too easily: if something feels wrong to you, keep at them to figure out what's going on. Why did your father's BP drop after dialysis?
The homeopathic lesson I learned was to ask few questions but observe closely, as one has to do with animals and infants.
If you can come up with a really good remedy, you might consider giving it as a Fibonacci series, i.e., starting very low and gradually working up as close to the Fibonacci sequence as you can get. My mom turned out to need Baryta-carb., which I was able to get starting with 5c, 7c, etc. A day or two on each potency, in ascending order, quickly restored her strength.
Good luck to you and your dad.
Peace,
Dale

I'll do it now. Thanks for the reminder.

Delaware.

Update (if anyone has any ideas at all):

1. His pneumothoraces is almost all gone. His respiration is much better. But they put him back on the ventilator for "support"

2. Complete renal failure. On Dialysis 3x a week. Not putting out any urine at all.

3. Tube fed, so I can't even give him any vitamins or supplements.

4. Vocal cords paralyzed, aspirating his food. Therefore, tube fed.

5. Distended abdomen. No one knows why.

6. Has 2 chest tubes, a trach, tube in stomach, and 2 central catheters。
