rubric for renal failure

Post by helensan8 »

My father's kidneys have stopped working, and he is on dialysis. He can't speak so it is difficult for me to rep him. The main symptom is very little urine, but I don't know if he has the urge to urinate or not. His creatinine and BUN levels are very high when he is not dialyzing.

What is the rubric for general renal failure? Thanks.

There is a remedy called Eel Serum that might be worth your while looking at. Find it http://www.homeopathy.com.pk/boericke/r ... otoxin.php

Eel serum remedy is almost a specific for renal failure, in studies it helped everyone on dialysis, did not cure, but improved.

I have used if frequently and it works very well.

I wish you the best with dad,

Warmly, Maria

Rosina Sonnenschmidt's recent book on kidney and bladder issues has some interesting differential diagnoses of different "kidney" remedies, but unless you know why your father's kidneys have failed, it's not going to be of much help.
For patients on dialysis, Serum anguillae is the indicated remedy, according to Sonnenschmidt. Repertorizing his symptoms, unless there's something truly SRP, probably won't take you far, because the kidney section of the repertory is pretty limited. High creatinine and BUN levels go with needing dialysis.
If this is the result of a chronic condition and if his kidneys have been deteriorating for a long time, he'll likely have to stay on dialysis for the rest of his life.
Good luck to you!
Peace,
Dale

May I ask what the indications are for Carassius auratus? I have very little information on that remedy and nothing that suggests its use in kidney failure.
Peace,
Dale

The rubric for renal failure is uremia. You will find it in generalities. The rubric is not a very complete one as there are many other medicines useful for CRF that are not mentioned in that rubric. Actually if the creatinine level is not very high you will be able to cure most renal failure cases. Once the level goes very high it becomes difficult.

If the creatinine level is not very high less than 3 give constitutional remedy. If it is more than that you may need to start with locally acting remedies such as Cupr-ac or cup-ars, or eel serum

Over the years we have cured quite a few cases in our centre.

Some other rubrics you might need to use include urine albuminous, kidneys suppression of urine, generals dropsy kidney disease from e.

Best regards
Elham
