Hey guys,

The translation of Shelley Epstein's words below is this:

The resolution 3 has been sent back to the
Executive Council. It is likely they will
consider this later this spring as part of their
five year reassessment of the CAVM statement made by the AVMA.

The last few days have been jam-packed with
meetings and conversations. Opinions varied - and
support for not accepting this resolution varied
from "if they pick on homeopathy now, which one
of us is next" to "I didn't know there was
science out there" to "hmmmmm….. homeopaths seem
like real people and good clinicians" to "what if
this goes to other than veterinarians ??….." to
"lots of conventional (veterinary) medicine does
not have hard science behind it" to one of my
favourites, "you can't just say you're interested
in evidence based medicine, start a group, and be considered the expert"……

I want to send my personal thanks - as well as
the thanks of many other people and a few
organizations - to you for the work you did in
support of raising awareness about the totality
of the effects and influence of this resolution.
Words cannot express my appreciation.

Yes - there is much work ahead of us, both in the
realm of homeopathy and in the whole venue of
freedom of medical choice. When we know a little
more about what that is actually going to look like, I will let you know.
