Many thanks Vicki for the info. on the movie.
Thank you Kristy.

I will definitely watch it and i have been trying my best to have an organic diet, at times not 100% though. As to organic juice cleanse how many days is recommended?
I can't agree more on the effects of emotional stress from work, I have been successful in reducing it in a considerably. What chemicals should I look for to avoid in all those fancy shampoos?

Again, thank you List.

as far as the juice cleanse, 7 days min but the longer the better, 14 days better and 21 would be best. you would feel worst the first week as your body starts to dump the crap. then you start feeling better then you feel fresh and have more energy. if you can go longer, and need to "chew", go raw, fruits and greens. there is another good documentary called "sick, fat and nearly dead. i think it is available free on topdocumetaryfilms.com
there is so much crap build up in our bodies that we don't know what normal feels like most of the time. it is important to get a lot of the dark leafy greens in the juicing. there are good recipes online for cleansing. i find that adding some pineapple makes almost anything taste good, lol

I have had first hand success with change of diet and avoiding all GMO's including almost all processed foods. I switched to a live food (raw) vegan diet High carb low fat and low protein and regrew my hair. I had a silica deficiency so I juiced just the watermelon rind and white part and drank it about 2 hours before bedtime. Other foods high in silica are carrots and cucumbers.
I did not take the homeopathic silica. Tempting but I desired to know what the diet and juicing would do and I knew I could always take the remedy if it didn't work. It took about a year and now my hair is thicker than the pic with me in my lab coat that was taken in Feb of 2012
I ate the red part of the watermelon for breakfast or lunch. Did you know that watermelon is 4% fat?
This diet has worked wonders for me. I also became much lighter.
Do see the movies it is well worth the time especially now that they are free. I paid to see some of them.
I just signed up to be a volunteer. Thanks Vicki
On another note I have had some good results using sepia for patients whose hair loss was from hormonal changes (pregnancy and menopause), phosphorous after someone was struck by lightning.
Take the individual case to see what remedy fits for regrowing hair. Any remedy can regrow hair if it matches the picture. Here are some remedies that have an affinity for hair loss

Alum, Ars, Bar-c, Carbo-veg, Flour-ac, Graph, Lyco, Nat-m, Nit-ac, Phos-ac, Phos, Selen, Sep, Syph, Thallium, Vinca.

this made me think of something I saw in the movie "Genetic Roulette", the GMO in our food has been linked with inability to absorb nutrients due to the herbicide Round Up being over sprayed since the GMO plants wont die but all the others will. the Round Up works by blocking the plants ability to absorb nutrients. This coincides with the nations disease rate of Mal-nurushed over wight/obesity rate. As they use more and more of this herbicide and it builds up in the soil, it then leave the soil Mal-nurushed.
This could possibly be a cause of hair loss even if the diet is good but not organic. Maybe an organic juice cleanse would help flush out the toxins leaving her better able for her body to get the nutrients needed for hair
just a thought
also, you can watch this movie free online until the end of Oct or they might
have extended it till Nov 6 at
www.geneticroulettemovie.com
if you havent seen it i highly recommend making the time and making sure anyone you care about watches it too.

On this topic of hair loss, I was wondering if folks have some thoughts about what a lay person may do with homeopathy to encourage hair regrowth after radiation in a 10 yr old girl. Radiation was to the brain, focused on one area, not whole brain, done 3 1/2 yrs ago. The skin that received the most radiation has not regrown more than a few strands of hair. Another high dose location has thin hair. The hair that did grow is thin and tangles easily. Any thoughts on this would be great!

Dr. Leela told me of a remedy used in India where you take olive oil and mix
with arnica and maybe something else(sorry)and put on the head at night with a
night cap. Wash hair in morning. Do this 3 x a week for three weeks. Arnica
tincture? ARnica cream? I don't remember. I've tried googling it and I think I
found a few recipes here and there.

Hi Carol,

Arnica hair cream - of various brands and formulas - are a standard
product in any Indian Homeopathic dispensary or pharmacy all over
India. Arnica in topical form is well known for its healthy scalp properties.

If you really need to know what concoction it is they use in India there are basically two of them. The most common one is a micture of Arnica Q and Jabrondi Q in coconut oil. The other one rarely used is Arnica Q and a little of Cantharis Q in coconut oil.

I have never used these myself. But I can assure you the Homoeopathic medicine based either on symptoms or constitutional remedy work wonderfully and there is usually no need of such drastic measures.

Apart from the constitutional remedies the best remedies that work locally are Thalium met, Bar-c, Fl-acid, silicea, and others assure me wiesbaden works though I have no personal experience with wiesbaden. The indications can be found in any Homoeopathic book. The best nosode for hair falling is Syphil.

Best regards
Elham

Dear Nila
Do you mean mother tincture (MT) or LM (Q)? Q should always be used when referring to LM potencies.
If LM, Mr Farahmand may have it!

If MT, I doubt it.

To my dear colleagues in Iran: is Arnica Q hair tonic available to be purchased in Iran? If so what is it called in Persian? And where can one obtain it in Tehran? Many thanks. Dr. Nila Lavs
