How it goes astray and attacks its neighbors may indeed be genetically driven but who cares? If doctors 150 years ago cured it routinely, then how could the observation that grandma was a hunchback mean that you are going to get osteoporosis?
Anthropological studies clearly document that civilizations untouched by modern man never heard of cancer, heart disease or dental decay? Allow these people to consume modern foods or transplant them into our "civilized" society and guess what happens? They get sick! And they get cancer in the same ratio as the rest of us! They go back home and presto! They get better!

Did you think up that theory?
It holds no water of course. We are well aware what is happening at the microscopic and the chemical level in cancers, even if stopping it is not always so easy. There is no fungus involved in leukaemic cancers. They have a changed DNA like any other cancer, and the immune system cells still recognize them as "self", as they derive for the SAME stem cells as normal cells.
There are virus triggers for SOME leukaemias, not all. In those, the virus combines its DNA with that of the attacked individual. There is one like that in cats for example, which goes a step further, and uses some of the cat's genome to convert the leukaemia to a lymphoma. But in all cases, cancer involves the same stem cells as the natural stem cells of the cancerous area (which is why metastasized breast cancer is still breast tissue even if it is in the liver or other organ area. And the same for leukaemia.) There's no fungus anywhere.
By the way a fungus is very large compared to the other structures visible with ease nowadays, it would be like missing a forest, to miss a fungus that was there. But it is not there.

There is one principle that is the same - namely that a stem cell for normal behavior of a tissue acquired altered DNA without losing its identity of "self" to the immune system. In all other ways, each cancer is different and unique.

For example a lymphoma inside the main thoracic duct (the biggest lymph duct), will cause chyle to leak out into the pleural cavity or the abdomen depending how high the blockage is up the duct. (The thoracic lymph duct runs along the front of the backbone from the abdomen to the shoulders where it empties into the blood stream.) Did you ever study anatomy or cancer or genetics or fungi or biology or.....at all?
It is anaerobic respiration - meaning respiration without oxygen - and it has historically also been called fermentation. It is simply a different chemical reaction than the one using oxygen. (It has nothing to do with fungi if that is your theory.)
You have Warburg's 1931 Nobel prize muddled up a bit. His Nobel prize was for (and I quote) "discovery of the nature and mode of action of the respiratory enzyme."
(No fungus in sight and no knowledge yet of how anaerobic respiration actually works.)

He did have a hypothesis on how cancer got its energy: He felt it involved non-oxidative breakdown of glucose using glycolysis (a chemical reaction that converts amino acids to glucose) followed by recycling of NADH back to oxidized form, to be reused in glycolysis - so in a circle, generating ATP energy from the tumor.
This was his view of the anaerobic respiration or "fermentation" reaction.
ATP = Adenosine triphosphate (energy)
NADH = Reduced form of Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (a molecule involved in energy synthesis)
In contrast, non-cancer cells generate energy form pyruvate (not from sugar/glucose) and they do it inside mitochondria (tiny little energy factory bodies inside the cells).
A tumor is an *abnormal* growth and that is not a normal part of life biology, whether it is a benign or a malignant growth.
They do not. In some cases the body sequesters an infection it cannot control - for example it makes a tubercle around TB baccilli and it will sequester a serious bone infection by growing a capsule of bone around the infected marrow, and it will wall off a bacterial growth into an abscess, or grow a scab over a wound. None of those protective systems is a tumor.
A tumor by definition is something else which is NOT growing under the management of the body's normal systems, and has NOTHING whatsoever to do with sepsis (or fungi for that matter).

Some of them are benign - for example fatty tumors quite often form in animals on such high fat diets that the system stashes the fat somewhere new. Called a lipoma, it is harmless, just a fat lump.
A malignant (having altered DNA) tumor is never a friend, as it has totally lost any connection with the body's normal control systems, tumor killers etc.
Is your book based on all this lack of knowledge of basic biology, and misrepresentation of who earned what Nobel prize and on suggestions that it has anything to do with fungi?

but keep the Olive Leaf Extract for real fungi and not cancers like leukaemia....

All fine and dandy with the exception that cancer goes away when the detritis of the blood is cleared up and the pH of the blood is brought back to homeostasis. Leukemic conditions resolve rather quickly when the blood becomes normal by the removal of contaminants. Why don't you try using Olive Leaf Extract on your leukemic cats and report back to us your results? I think everyone here would like to see that.
Your technical details are wonderful as always yet you offer no cure. That is the real problem in the present state of science and medicine. They ignore that fact that the disease is a result of the activities of modern civilization. There were and still are cultures around the world who have never seen cancer. When modern diets and lifestyles are adopted by these people, they get cancer just like the rest of us.
It is the milieu interne' that determines a shift in Progenator cryptocides (it has been given many other names) that reaches the mycelial stage and becomes a fungus. The distinction between benign and malignant is due to this factor. That is why cancer usually only involves about 15% of a tumor hence the reason for multiple sticks when performing a biopsy.
Warburg could turn the reaction on and off by manipulating the oxygen levels in the media. Rife and Kendall observed the pleomorphic transformations and observed multiple stages of the shift in Progenator cryptocides (named by Livingston-Wheeler) in vitro. They altered the pH of the media and observed both TB and a form of cancer then returned the sample back to its original form of e. coli. This experiment proved that cancer was curable by amnipulating its environment. Rife observed the microbe responsible for the disease and discovered two forms of it. All matter both living and inert carry this pleomorphic organism. All of this information having been gleaned from the audio tapes salvaged from Dr. Stafford's garage. The recordings are available from the Kinneman Foundation.

Warburg is likely turning in his grave with the way you try to misread relevance or application of any of his work. You need to learn some biology, so you stop talking nonsense.
There's no "detritis" in the blood; there are no "Progenitor Cryptocides" that become fungus. You twist everything - like trying to make apple pie from oranges. Progenitor cryptocides refers to the theory that bacteria can cause cancer such as in helicobacter pylori with pylorus cancer. That does not mean you can jump to the conclusion that there are fungi in the blood stream causing leukaemia.
Just because Warburg did some good investigation of anaerobic respiration in cells, is not an excuse to drag his name into your wild fungal theory with no connection in sight either.

There's no "detritis" in the blood; there are no "Progenitor Cryptocides" that become fungus. You twist everything - like trying to make apple pie from oranges. Progenitor cryptocides refers to the theory that bacteria can cause cancer such as in helicobacter pylori with pylorus cancer. That does not mean you can jump to the conclusion that there are fungi in the blood stream causing leukaemia.
Just because Warburg did some good investigation of anaerobic respiration in cells, is not an excuse to drag his name into your wild fungal theory with no connection in sight either.
Are you high on something?

A concentrated extract of olive leaf (not something one can swallow safely), appears to have some effect in a lab dish, to slow cell growth. They THINK it may be due to polyphenol toxins in the leaf concentrate, causing cell death.
They may one day confirm the active component and/or try it in an actual case of leukaemia and/or develop a chemo drug from it.
Meantime we have homeopathy.
And no I shall not be "trying it" on cats. I leave allopathic experiments to the allopaths.
The phenolics in plants are extremely toxic to cats.
The discussion was about why you were mistaken, not about my approach.
As it happens:
I'm a veterinary homeopath not an allopath. I find that Feline leukaemia responds very well to homeopathy.
You might try it some time. Homeopathy actually works. (in real live individuals, not just in imaginary fungus in a petri dish.)

That research shows the olive leaf extract lead the cells to apoptosis (suicide) and does not take into account any of the antibiotic/antiseptic properties of the plant.....
