Dear all,
17 June I asked help from you all for a PTSD & panic attack patient.
(see below) I thought I'd give you some follow up.
I got several suggestions for different remedies (thank you all) and
finally settled mainly on Stram 200. Over time, I tried different
remedies in succession with little or moderate success, none of them
completely helping or curing. I also tried over the period Aussie
Flower combo and later, a Bach Flower combo to deal with the
persistant panic attacks. All helped a bit, but none actually had any
real success.
[attn Classicists- In case you can't read my above para - rx's were
in sequence not simultaneously]
Finally, I again (and again) reviewed her sx. She kept talking about
a fuzzy cloudy feeling in the head that none of the remedies could touch.
So it occurred to me to potentize her previously used
anti-depressants. I started with the first - potentized to 12c. 2
doses a day for 5 days. The fuzzy head cleared and few other persistant sx.
The patient and I both got happy over that and we went for the second drug.
After 2 days she experienced a tremendous depression & panic. I told
her to stop the detox. Two days later she awoke with no depressive
feeling and a clear head for the first time in several years.
We went for the 3rd drug. After which the weird nightmares and animal
fears have dissappeared.
So within 15 days of detoxing, she now feels very much back to
"normal" for the first time in many years since the PSTD was first
"treated". No depression, no nightmares, minimal panic attacks, no fuzzy head.
I left her with instructions to use the Bach remedies or the Stram as
she may feel necessary or in emergency. Otherwise, she appears to
have recovered from her "incurable" panic attacks and fears.
I consider this case to be entirely an iatrogenic one since sx didn't
start to clear until after the tautopathics.
Thank you all for your help.

Re: update on help PTSD and animal sx
thanx for sharing. this is very instructive.
I was going to do the same trying to detox a person from
cymbalta . what a horrible drug. we didn’t do it because
she went to an herbalist who did a detox which also worked.

Re: update on help PTSD and animal sx
Hi, Didi
I had a similar experience with a patient who responded beautifully to Calc-c. in a Fibonacci sequence. Then I discovered she was still taking the "occasional" Xanax for feelings of panic. What we determined was that the Xanax was exacerbating her symptoms, or even causing them. So we potentized the Xanax, which helped enormously. Finally, a single dose of Nux-v. 1M took everything away. No more panic attacks or agoraphobia.
Peace,
Dale

This is terrific--thanks for sharing it.
Will you be writing it up in greater details -- the specifics about which drugs and exactly what the associated proving / toxicity symptoms were? I'd love to see the fuller story, and it also seems like great material for a journal article. Both for others in similar situation, and hey, maybe the start of some new remedy pictures.
Nice!

Hi Shannon,
Well, actually didn't do such precise tracking of the sx's & drugs,
so it would be a bit inacurate on writing an article.
But at the least I can say is that "foggy" "fuzzy" "wuzzy" "murky"
etc are key words of, seemingly, all drugs. (I've seen
it post-typhoidals rx's, post-malarials rx's, antibiotics,
anti-epileptic rx's and now anti depressants )

Re: update on help PTSD and animal sx
You ca easily find general symptoms of the drugs looking in the pharmaceutical books (PDR in the US I think) under side-effects.....and very often you will see, as expected, that the side effects mirror the indications, which is why those drugs do work at times....it is called "homeopathy"....
