New case on wikispaces

In my experience I have found non-specific symptoms are often triggered by
mental stress. A lady patient I had who suffered from non related and random
ills was finally diagnosed with stress from her young child, of a previous
marriage, being bullied by other children in the joint family and she not being
able to defend him adequately because of her husband's attitude towards an
outside child. Staph given with long intervals resolved the case.

The case is :

Case 24

•The patient is a 40 year old woman. She is a know case of Behcet' disease with the complaint of recurrent aphthae. She is suffering from recurrent aphthae since 18 years ago. First it was considered as normal common aphthae but later due to the recurrence and severity of aphthae, Behcet's disease was questioned and confirmed by immunological studies. She is hopefully not showing the systemic manifestations of Behcet at the time being. The only problem is the aphthae. The location of aphthae is on different parts of mouth mucosa and sometimes on tongue. Rarely, she has also suffered from throat aphthae which has been extremely painful and distressing for her. There is nothing else she can add!

The patient is a 17 year old boy with the complaint of panic attacks. He has always been an anxious type of person since childhood but the intensity of anxiety is increased since about one year ago with no apparent cause. Once or twice a week he experiences attacks of palpitation and dyspnea which is confirmed by lung examinations to be nothing but a psychogenic dyspnea. During dyspnea when he feels that he is going to die, has a feeling as if there is a lump in larynx area. Feels tingling all over the body and a cold perspiration covers the body. Xanax (Alprazolam) is prescribed by psychiatrist but has failed to help him. Aconitum napellus prescribed by a homeopath in different potencies has also failed to help him.

The case is :

•The patient is a 73 years old man with Parkinson's disease. He shows typical presentation of Parkinson's disease with tremor of hands at rest, tremor of head, rigidity of muscles, bent posture and somewhat masked face. Speech is becoming slow and the tone of speech is becoming weak. The first symptom which came on and off was tremor of right hand that appeared about 15 years ago. At that period of time he experienced one-sided headaches, episodes of anguish and restlessness and feeling of flushes of heat all over the body. With no apparent external cause, he became depressed and taciturn. Gradually the symptoms of Parkinson's developed and he is now severely affected by the disease.

The patient is a 42 year old woman with the complaint of anxiety and sleeplessness. The problem began after she had to take care of her mother after her mother's heart attack. She has a deep emotional tie with her mother and was extremely anxious about what happened. More than 10 days she was night watching to be sure of her mother's well being. After this stressful period, she is now suffering from a free-floating anxiety and sleeplessness. Her mother is now in an stable state but she herself is not in a good condition suffering from sleeplessness, anxiety, tension headaches specially felt in occipital region, and general weakness. She feels tried all over the day.
