Current case is:
"Case 5
• The patient is a 15 year old boy with the complaint of a psoriatic patch on the left elbow (extensor side). The patch gradually appeared during the previous year. It is a typical psoriatic patch. On examination, you can see a thick layer of scales. The boundaries of the patch are clear-cut. No modality is reported. Nothing else can be found in the history of the patient. He is a medium weight, polite introverted boy with normal behavior and complains of no mental and physical problem. There is no family history of of psoriasis. The father just suffers from moderate hypertension and mild diabetes (type 2). The mother is ok. Corticosteroid topical ointments were not helpful in suppressing the skin condition.

Current case is:
The patient is a 16 year old boy with NBWS complaints following mumps (about 1 year ago). The complaints appeared after about 1 months following a troublesome mumps. His complaints are cervical lymphadenopathy on both sides of neck and a chronic pharyngotonsilitis. He suffers from frequent throat pains which are aggravated by empty swallowing accompanied by a kind of ball sensation in the throat. On throat examination, tonsillitis with redness of throat is seen. Throat smear is negative for bacterial infection. Bad, offensive odor of mouth is another symptom associated with the above ones. Nothing else is changed in the mental and general aspects of the patient.

Current case is:

The patient is a 42 year old man with the complaint of painful hemorrhoids.
He has been suffering from severe constipation since 7 years ago. Now, since
a week ago, he has painful protruding piles. He is extremely restless and
irritable. He can’t sit comfortably during homeopathy consultation. Least
touch is intolerable. He calls it the worst thing which he has experienced.
There is a severe burning pain coming after stool. He cannot touch the anal
region. Wiping causes intolerable pain. When sitting or lying he should sit
or lie in a way to be able to hold the buttocks apart. Doing this
ameliorates the pain. He has a chronic problem in digestion, too. Feels
heaviness after even light meals. Frequent regurgitation is another
complaints. The burning pain of stomach which at least happens once a month
extends to the space between scapulae.
As confirmed by his wife, he is an irritable type of person; quarrelsome and
difficult to please. He lost his parents when he was a teenager and the
pressure of life and responsibility of the brothers was upon his own
shoulder. He himself believes that it is normal not to be in a good mood
with such a painful life. Another problem is hyperplasia of prostate not
correlated with age. He has mild symptoms of frequent urination and terminal
dribbling. He is a chilly type of person and does not tolerate draft of cold
air on his head.

Current case is:
The patient is a 36 year old woman with the complaint of recurrent stomatitis. She has been suffering from episodes of inflammation of mouth mucosa for about 10 years. The mucosa of her mouth cavity becomes distinctly red, sore and hot. She feels an irritating sensation of heat not relieved by drinking cold water. When this happens, there is no way to palliate it. It has a course of ten days and then gradually fades in 5-6 days. She is healthy otherwise. No prominent symptoms in other organs. She complains of mild dysmenorrhea and mild depression before menses. No significant general modalities. She is extroverted, but looks serious and a little morose. Asking about any emotional, psychological problem leads to no added information.•She is on no medications. No significant relief after Prednisolone, which was blindly prescribed, so it was discontinued. Lab tests were normal. Serological studies and tests monitoring autoimmune diseases were in the normal range.

Current case is:

The patient is a 25 year old man with the complaint of alopecia areata. There are two patches of hair loss on vertex region of head with the diameters of 2cm and 3cm. The hair loss happened in one day following an earthquake. He was extremely frightened. The earthquake happened at night and he was alone. He was not hurt physically but was greatly scared. Since the event which was 2 weeks ago, he feels a great anxiety. He wants to be with his friends all the time and cannot sleep when being alone at home. He fears being alone esp at nights. The fear and anxiety is apparent during casetaking, too. Constantly wants reassurance and miserably begs for help. He is otherwise healthy. No history of physical ailments.

Hi all

As you may know there is free course on wikispaces. you can join us through this link:

http://shahrdarcases.wikispaces.com/

Current case is:

The patient is a 30 year old woman affected by ulcerative colitis. The problem began about 2 years ago with an attack of diarrhea and rectorrhagia. Now she sometimes suffers from diarrhea and sometimes from constipation. Never has a normal stool. Rectorrhagia still occurs but less after taking Sulfasalazine (Azaline) since 1.5 years ago. Another problem is the mucoid secretion from rectum which usually covers the stool. Endoscopic examination shows ulceration of rectum. She sometimes experiences rectal tenesmus before stool. She is an anxious and irritable type of person. Always thinks that something bad is going to happen. Sometimes has headaches felt in vertex region aggravated at nights. Tinnitus since 6 months ago is another problem. Least exertion leads to palpitation.
Hair falling is increased. She is chilly and loves warm rooms. Since a year ago, she is suffering from urticaria and itching which is usually but not always aggravated at nights. Lab tests show ESR = 32, HGb = 10.1. Asking about what happened prior to first attack, she recalls nothing. `Everything was normal'. The only thing was a work overload with its stresses.
